The hotel was handy walking distance from the main train station. The rear of the hotel faced the sea, and there is the promenade between the hotel and rhe sea. The room which we had faced the waterfront.The room was comfortable, but would have loved to have a kettle in the room. The windows could be opened, which meant a fresh seabreeze in the room which was very nice. The breakfast had a wide selection, and the outdoor dining area overlooked the sea. The hotel probably needs a little cosmetic work, but not to interfere with its overall charm. Stepping into the hotel It feels like a bygone era. The travel card for the local area is handy, taking you as far as Prora on the bus line, and to the kleinbahnhof to catch Rasender Roland through to various highlights on the island, such as Sellin. The pier at Binz is walking distance. The hotel also has 2 restaurants and a bar, as well as an outside bar / cafe which serves until 19:00 (in summer while we were there). Would I stay here again? Yes, I think I would.

The staff didnt speak English, willingness was poor. The room was small , electricity crazy, mobil needed whole night to be charged. Not much friendly for children.

A nice hotel! Very big, so a bit chaotic during breakfast. Otherwise a good experience! (Not all the staff speak english so sometimes hard to communicate..)

Good clean hotel. Hood morning and evenening bufet.

Very good experience. We booked with halfboard. Breakfast was great, dinner was not. Everything else was perfect. The spa/wellness area, the room are great. Location is great too.

Nice hotel, close to the beach. Recommended and designed for elder couples, not so much for young families. Very good staff and an excellent breakfast buffet.

We booked this hotel as it had parking and close to beach, when arriving at 13,30 we were informed they had NO parking!!! Rooms would be ready at 15.00. I had to beg and ask to get parking for the next day and after a while of begging we would get a parking the next day. Comming back at 15.00 we got info room were not ready still! Finally got the room which smelled of wet dog and horse with a window 2 meters away from carpark with cars parked with rear towards the window so no good idea to have window open! Hotel is OK and good breakfast but far away good for the money! The room with the smell is a low 3 star hotel!

Had a lovely stay here. Right on the Strand promenade and only 2 minutes to the beach. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Would have liked to have had a coffee maker though...early riser here and no coffee unless you went down to the front desk and then it was a bit of a challenge to get the coffee. Room service in the morning doesnt start until 8am. Was a great breakfast upstairs on the 6th floor. Amazing views and the food selection at the buffet was fantastic!

This hotel has old world charm and does a fantastic breakfast. The pool is nice too and the location right on the beach and near the town centre. Dont stay near Binz pier BTW as they play live music and have a market til late. Great to visit but noisy. Good restaurants near the hotel and there is soooo much to do on the island. We LOVED the tree top walks and the submarine.The beds were not great however too soft, but would not put us off.

Stayed for three nights. The hotel was very nice, but would benefit from some renovations. We specifically liked the breakfast and dinner. The staff was very nice.
