Nice place to stay. It would be great if equipped with fan for ventilation during hot summer days.

The location of this hotel is excellent. Many nice restaurants, grocery stores, and bakeries in walking distance. Very close to the central market area. It is a five-minute walk from the train station. The staff is kind and accommodating. The hotel is very clean. The only thing is the room (one person room) is very small.

This is a comfortable traditional hotel with a good restaurant, very centrally located, I enjoyed my stay but my bedroom was due for some refurbishment.

I had booked a "superior double room" but since the elevator to that room on the third floor was off, and we could not carry our hand luggage or walk an entire floor, I had to switch to a less comfortable room, without a desk for example… Of course, I paid for the better room, which I did not get. Otherwise everything else was okay.

Good location 5 mins walk from the station and 5 mins walk to the centre. Rooms are very nice and the wifi is good. The breakfast is a little limited choice but okay.

Breakfast is very disappointing. Beds are rather used up. Needed a zero-balance receipt for business travel - took a lot of arguing. I would not stay at this hotel again.

It is not often you visit such a hotel. Friendly Staff, spacious clean and comfortable room. We had a verk good dinner in the restaurant. Everything was perfect.

Excellent hotel close to station and old town centre

Our stay of three nights and two days was wonderful and memorable, our favorite of our luxurious hotels of our three week stay in Germany. I would recommend this hotel with enthusiasm. It was beautiful, clean, very well located blocks from the city center and one block from the train station with an adjacent, free parking lot. The staff was attentive and the special touches ( a fresh, long-stemmed rose in a vase next to the mirror and fresh flowers throughout the premises) were well appreciated. We loved it!

Nice hotel. Will stay again there for sure. Nice breakfast, clean rooms, very close to train station. Excellent service. A few suggestions: in Summer air-conditioning will definitely be needed. The lack of it is definitely a problem. Also mattress was a bit firm for my taste. The use of old type of locks with traditional keys is a bit inconvenient compared to modern card locks.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Was happy to discover the convenience of an elevator. The bed and pillows were comfortable and I was able to sleep well. Opportunity for improvements: The decor seemed a bit outdated; the shower in my room (#123) leaked.

The whole experience was very good and easy. Reception and restaurant staff were professional and kind.

Classy Hotel convenient to public transport. Short, easy walk from Bahnhof. Nice amenities and facilities, no AC tho. Can see that being an issue especially if you have to open your windows on the street side which can be a bit noisy. Price to me was a tad high when compared to other options.

Very nice hotel for those who try and shy away from the corporate/big chains hotels or modern design IKEA-like hotels. Very spacious rooms, with classic amazing interior design. The hotel itself is very clasy with beatiful classic interior design.Service and reception were exactly what we expected: accurate, fast, knowlegeable and with a chocolate and a smile.

This is a classic old traditional European hotel with lots of charm. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and the service was superb. This hotel is conveniently located near the train station and Goettingen city center. I had a great stay there and enjoyed the added touches like: complimentary chocolates in the room, fresh cut flower (rose) in the bathroom, and foot cloth near the bed. 10/10 for me ! Would definitely stay there again.

Haven't slept so well in a hotel in a long while. Very comfortable room and bed. Close to road and train station but no disturbance. Pleasant atmosphere and well kept. Good breakfast, which was included. Great for a business trip, would work fine for leisure too.

This is a nice hotel and close to town but its basic and I was really disappointed by it. Considering what the rates are I really feel its overpriced. The room was cramped and lacked any real coziness. The bathroom was cramped and the shower/bath was a disaster, I had to crouch in the bath to use the shower. It's a nice, clean & friendly hotel but I was really disappointed with it for what I paid..

Great room. Friendly staff. Front desk very helpful. Restaurant allowed me to go off menu when ordering food. Outstanding cooking. Across from train station which allowed me to commute via train daily to Hannover Fair.
