It's decent property, room size and condition is great. Overall good experience, only disappointment was food selection in meal. Everyday same stuff.

All-inclusive, excellent staff/service, sea view, large modern rooms, indoor and outdoor pool, and just well maintained property makes it an ideal spot for relaxing vacation with family.

Had great time, the staff and food were outstanding. The spa was a great addition to do and very relaxing. Family had fun with so many things to do.

Really enjoyed our stay. Food and facilities were fantastic and staff very attentive. Bit noisy with the building work next door but more than made up for by the pools and the beach

Great 4 night stay! Elefteria and Angelina (I think was her name) were very welcoming and upgraded our moms to the loft so they could be closer to us and the grandkids. Very friendly and helpful staff but the food and hotel premise is at 3star resort not a 5star. We highly recommend this place if you’re traveling w kids and large families.

Lovely family holiday, food selection was good, the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent the only area that could be improved is the grass around the pool, maybe more paving instead of grass which can get a big muddy. Lots of available sun beds both round the pool and near beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a very relaxing holiday.

Very dirty rooms

Hotel in need of FULL Renovation inside and out. Hotel in the middle of no where. No beach as stated. Anything decent is old chania 25 minutes by taxi and 25 euros each way. Hotel does not provide any transportation but has hotel van. Food is mediocre and same every day. If weather bad all ferries cancelled and excursions roughly 2 hours away. All terrain vehicles needed for any cliff beaches. I give this place 2 starts and not anything higher.

Lovely stay

Nice beach, clean see, excellent swimming pools for kids, great animation team our children are still dreaming of that. Beach bar very well orgainsed. Food is really very good. Only negative points: daily cleaning service of the rooms to be improved. Wild cats running arount at the restaurant are not pleasant

The staff was very amazing particularly with my children. Always a smile and présent for help. One thing could be Ad a Free transport to thé down Town.

I have been to real 5-star resorts. Kiani beach is nothing near 5-star but barely a 3-star with the standards I am used to! Food options are so limited and it doesn’t taste fresh; not enough fish dishes (a disappointment given we are rights at the sea!!). The room didn’t include any products such as shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, lotions, etc. These things are default and normal to find in even a 4-star place, yet a 5-star doesn’t have any of these things! The room again smells like sewage and you only get one card to enter and leave the property which even means that we can’t leave the air cleaner running to eliminate the smell. Now comes the all-inclusive; why on earth I would need to pay £20 per person to have access to the good stuff? In every 5-star resort I have been to the so called premium drinks and iced coffee are included in the all-inclusive because guess what? It’s ALL INCLUSIVE!! Nothing feels included in this place even bottled water and you only get to drink from tap! This place is a ripoff as for this price we would have got a much better service and better access to food and drinks in any other 5-star resort.

Great stay with loads of activities. Deserts and food were fresh and really amazing!

Staff were Excellent and fun!!! The staff made our trip extra special. Property was beautiful and was on the beach which was very nice. Pools were clean, big, and refreshing. I’m sorry to say that the food was terrible. We paid for all inclusive but had to go out for most meals. I wish they would have just cooked traditional Greek food instead of trying to accommodate other nationalities because that didn’t work. Plus, the snacks offered were just terrible. However, they did have crepes at the beach bar which were terrific, but the line was incredibly long. Would go back for the people and the beach front property, but would just eat out all meals.

We started our island hopping on Crete and enjoyed 4 days at this resort. Location: Your within a few minutes of Chania which has a beautiful port and Kalyves a cute beach town with good food. The closest airport and port is Chania and Heraklion is just under 2 hour drive from this location where most of the tourist activities happen. We rented a car so we can venture out on our own but we enjoyed most of our time in the resort. Parking is included with our stay. My son enjoyed the pool, the food and making friends from other countries. Family oriented resort and would recommend the ocean view facing the pool area and beach for families. Food was excellent and bar drinks were ok. The property exterior is a bit outdated but very clean. The pool area could use more attention to cleaning as some areas ere too slippery from folks coming in and out of the beach. I have experience and training in commercial property management and this is my recommendation for the property. Otherwise the staff was helpful and excellent. My son cried all the way to the Heraklion port on the day we left because he wanted to stay longer.

The resort is perfect for a family vacation. Plenty of food and drinks for everybody all day long. The beach is such an awesome convenience right next door to the hotel. The only hard part was that smoking was allowed everywhere. I wish there was designated smoking for those people.

The hotel is great for family with young children. Tge staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Lots of facilities for younger children. The all inclusive facilities is good. You definitely need to hire a car to stay in this hotel. I will recommend.

Welcoming stuff. Not 5 star hotel I would say. Quiet. Food well above average. Positive overall but not excellent.

My girlfriend, our daughter and I had a great stay. We had a room with a beautiful view and decided to upgrade to VIP all inclusive which we really enjoyed. Unfortunately the Roof Top Restaurant was closed during our stay but the very helpful staff were quick to compensate for the unfortunate circumstances. In general the staff was very helpful and friendly. They are also very good with kids as it seems like they all like kids and are very good at smiling, waving and entertain them. The facilities are nice and there are lots of activities for the kids. These activities however are for kids from 4 years and above, I would say. The food was delicious and it was nice that a chef was cooking different kinds of meals every night. So all in all we're very happy with the stay and had a really good time.

Inexpensive and nice. Indoor pool could have been improved with a shallow end for smaller kids.

Really nice place to stay with family. I found the location good with a nice beach. The pools were surprisingly cold in October and our kids preferred the sea. The food was really good. Early checking without the possibility of a late checkout was annoying.

All the staff were working really hard. The sea was excellent for both adult and kids. We had great work along the beach, too. The blue flag beach is right next to a little river and the area was great fun.

Staff friendly great service

Kiani Beach Resort is well located near Chania and close to Kalyves, where there are great restaurants and bars. The resort itself is catered toward families, and would be recommended for those especially with young children. There was ample food with a good selection from their all-inclusive options, however we tended to go off the resort at night where there were some fantastic restaurants nearby. The hotel has two great pools, however we really liked the one on the mountain side of the resort which was very large and relaxing, with a bar right nearby. I will say the staff really helped us as well during our stay, with the front office manager going out of her way to ensure we had a great stay.

A great break for me and my family. The resort is well run and clean. It has great activity to keep the whole family engaged. Only small issue was the underwhelming quality of the all inclusive drinks

Its an Ok place to stay but I wouldn't go back

Very clean & updated. Rooms were impressive & spacious for a couple the day bed area was fantastic. (Enough space for 2 kids to sleep in the day bed area) - excellent for families. Amenities very nice - plenty of beach & beach chairs no need to rub shoulders Food was great - worth upgrading to the VIP drinks package if you like to have a few. Within striking distance of chania so plenty to see and do off the resort, fun night time activists, plenty of pool space, Resort was fully booked but there was still room to move. 10/10!

The hotel was very family orientated and all the staff were very helpful, especially worth mentioning were the great yoga and pilates classes by Vaso and the great advice given at reception by Evangelia. Already looking when to go again.

South side is 100% the better 5* hotel. Where the north hotel is a little more than 3* lower classes massing for chips etc. Where the upper to middle classes flock for salads and falafel in the North side. However some do stray across to dine with the uppers. Bringing the culture and atmosphere down. I’d rather not eat my fine food with the lower classes banging pots and pans singing “my old mans a dustman” The service is amazing. Plates cleared away, food left for us as we had a very late check in. Access all day on the final day. Would 100% recommend.

The beach front was nice. The property is very safe for kids. However, if I compare to 5-star experience, it comes up short on room amenities, cleanliness, service consistency, food etc. I think it is more of a 4-star property than the advertised 5- star.

The resort itself is amazing, great amenities and great location right in the beach front. The staff were so helpful and lovely. Especially the crepe chef at the beach bar.
