Dinner at Grill was mediocre room nice but hardly any towels Room clean Good for the price!

A little disappointed. First off, when reservation was made through Hotels.com it said that fees and taxes were included. Well, got saddled for a “resort fee” that was actually more than the price I paid for the room, plus a $150 security deposit. I was there for 2 nights and actually had to search out someone to get a drink while I was in the casino. The room was clean and quiet though.

My stay at Grand Z was all positive. Mary Kay at check-in was quick and thorough. The room felt new and was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had plenty of strong hot water. The Grill restaurant served delicious comfort food in generous portions at great prices. The casino was clean. The surrounding area felt safe and is walkable. I would stay here again.

Hotel is ok, first room smelled of dogs very bad, second try was better. It is just a fair condition hotel.

We stayed at the hotel to explore the area. The room was clean and comfortable. For morning coffee, you do have to go into the casino to find a coffee machine. Double check your bill on leaving as they did not initially charge us the agreed upon Expedia price. All in all, a nice stay.

I found ticks, initially the change me to another room, but incredibly the next day they blamed me!…So disrespectful. I had not seen this kind of bug for many many years.

The staff was phenomenal, my only complaint is we had to move rooms because it smelled like smoke. The second room also smelled like smoke but not as bad. However, the staff was willing to accommodate me to another 3rd new room.

The road up at night is pretty dark. I stayed here to get a jump start on hiking and not for gambling. There are limited food options. I went on a weekday and it was pretty quiet. The room was clean. Parking lot to room is a bit far. Overall, for price, it could not be beat.

The staff is a lot of fun and the casino is rustic nostalgia, like what you’d expect a casino to have been in the late 70’s.

Was nice overall, but needs a little bit of improvement, armchair really old, bathtub drain slowly, and bathroom light was flashing (dying) I showered in the dark before I left . (No time for repairs) but nice and clean 4 the price.

Nice room - overall, very comfortable. They didn’t give me the free breakfast they promised when I arrived, so there’s inconsistency or intentional misleading happening.

Property is shoehorned into a tight space so certainly a custom building. Nice. This does however make it complicated to get to your room. The room did not have an in room coffee maker or microwave. These are standard room amenities in any super 8 or other budget lodging. Not a good look for a ''resort'' that charges a $25 "resort fee". I won't return here.

We didn’t have a hairdryer in our room and they charged extra for a missing hair dryer. Terrible and the container service was horrible

Our room was so comfortable, clean and spacious, we like it so well we stayed an extra night. The bed and pillows just hugged you. Loved this place.

Comfortable room, nice bed, good bathroom, no issues. Nice and Quiet.

Nice and clean and safe. Although we didn't bring our dog, I like that they had a Dog Park in the hotel for those who did bring their dogs. The only issue we had was when we went to The Grill for breakfast, there was only one person working who was seating the customers and taking their orders. After waiting in line for about 30 minutes (we were the only ones in line), we went elsewhere for breakfast.

We were so excited when we booked this stay in a new quaint town in the Colorado mountains. We checked in to a sarcastically rude lady, but tried to overlook. To our room we went and were impressed at first. That didn’t last long. Walked in town to see the shops which were either empty, closed or the people were so rude we quickly left. Went to The Grill for supper. Horrible service and food. It was absolutely awful!!! To the room without any towels, tub was clogged and no hot water. We asked for help. They sent up maintenance which did nothing. We told a guy in the morning of continued situation, but nothing done to make things right. Would not recommend

We stayed here overnight on the way to denver to check out Central City. The price was right. The parking and check in were a little hard to figure out, because there are signs everywhere saying nobody under 21 allowed, but I had my daughter with me. Upon checkin, i learned that I had to sign for her. Room was clean and quiet. Coffee accessible 24/7. Easy walking to dinner and shopping.

Very nice room and good total price, though the "resort fee" was nearly as much as the room. Casino had a good selection of slots, no table games on weekdays. Hotel/Casino staff were friendly, but they were borderline under staffed (though sufficient as long as there isn't "a rush"). Food was good, but they got backed up/were definitely under staffed at dinner. We walked a couple hundred yards up to Dostal Alley Casino & Brewpub for dinner (pizza) and it was exceptional. Dostal Alley has very limited seating (and it's mostly outdoors) so getting a seat may be difficult at times, but that wasn't an issue at all on a pleasant summer Tuesday evening.

Me and my boyfriend loved it it was Peaceful. And the stuff we're nice Polite and when we called for towels or things for the room they bought it right to us we didn't have to go to the offices for anything i really recommend staying hear
