One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in.
1.0
Wasn’t very clean shower wasn’t working. Pictures obviously didn’t do it justice damage undercarriage of car in order to find parking but they don’t mention you have to mount a kerb on bus lane just to get in. Beds were awfully springy with food left over along side of bed really looking to get a refund on this. Really awful but service was great.

Really happy with this little find of a hotel, welcoming entrance off the main road, staff friendly and informative. Comunal areas of property smelled really fresh and clean, there wasn't that 'hotel smell' room likewise very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, continental and full English, breakfast staff equally as helpful. 3 min walk from Finsbury Park tube and loads of shops and facilities nearby, supermarket and eateries. So much so ive booked again for May 25 for another visit to London for a similar music event I'm attending. Thank you.

A Great of Choice For Breakfast as Well as Need Rooms even with the small size of the bathroom. Where The Water pressure left Something to be decierd the staff was great and I would recommend it to anybody that would like to visit London. It is was also very Close To Both The Tube and the Bus station from where You Could Reach The entire city with eas.

Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was efficient and good. Room was small but all I needed and very clean.

Great location for Finsbury Park, hotel in need of some tlc but for the price nice friendly staff and early check in is a massive plus

Really nice, friendly staff and very clean rooms, serviced daily. Close to the Underground and opposite Finsbury Park, near to shops and restaurants. It also felt safe, with a 24 hour front desk, which is important for me as a woman travelling alone. Room was a little noisy and airless though - but there was a fan. Toiletries were just a couple of bars of soap but tea and coffee in the room was nice. Breakfast was a little patchy (they were very busy as Taylor Swift was in town!), although I was very grateful that they opened early for me as I had to check out before 7:30 today. A good, cheap and cheerful option for Central London. Book for no-frills but a really lovely warm welcome!

One of the best london hotels we have stayed in so far.
Clean. Nice staff and free breakfast.

Hotel staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and tidy. The hotel is near Finsbury Park station which is very convenient. Only negatives are that noise from the street can be heard through the night, and also, to gain access into the hotel it's required to ring a bell, and then staff will buzz you in. It's a bit inconvenient but staff respond pretty quickly.

The hotel staff were friendly, the room was clean and functional, and the bed was reasonably comfy, which for the price point I think represents good value for money. The location is also very good - a couple of minutes from Finsbury Park. The road is very loud and the windows are not very sound proof, so if you’re a light sleeper you may struggle with that.

Perfectly adequate for what we wanted, clean, tidy and friendly.
Only couple of improvements I would suggest is if you don't supply toiletries (shower gel/shampoo) then advise before the stay, a curtain covering the window in room 15 would have helped as light came through the blinds at 6am, and adjust the door closers to slow down the last bit of the close as the neighbouring room doors banged. But would recommend it for a good base for arsenal and London.

I booked this for a three night stay in London. I've read mixed reviews about the property for me I had fantastic experiance and stay.
I had a small basic single room and ensuite, but sufficent space for myself. The room were cleaned daily, to a high standard and linens replaced daily. I
There is areas of ware and tear but for me its only asethics. I will issues with sounds, I live i. Old house myself and sometimes I can hear my neigbours, possibly not best place for light sleepers. I sleep like alog.
They even include a freshly cooked English breakfast woth great coffee. A Great selctions of continental breakfast options . The lasses are very friendly and helpful.
The 24 hour recpetion and you can required to leave your keys at the property for me, I prefered this again staff very helpful and friendly .
Location is amazing you opposite Finsbury park and about few mins walk from the tube. There plenty of local shops and cafes, including a Lidls. for me always amazing.
I paid about £60/£70 pernight.
You can't even get this price in alot of cheaper cites this for me is gem. I'll be staying again
I would highly recommend.

Nice little room everything worked and very clean. The mattress was very soft though and only one pillow, which wasn't very well filled. But overall very nice place 👌

The Queens is a small budget hotel .. the rooms are small but always very clean .. staff are very friendly and helpful .. if your looking to spend lots of time in your hotel the queens is not for you …if you want a good base on a budget to explore London the Queens is ideal . 3 min walk to Finsbury Park Tube , 20 mins to Emirates Stadium . I’ve stayed many times and will certainly continue to do so

It's dated but location is 5 minutes from the train station, the staff is very friendly, felt safe to walk in the late evening, great shower water pressure, price :)

So sorry to have a leave a negative review, because the staff was friendly and really tried to be helpful. The room was standard inexpensive London en-suite, something I'm very familiar with, and it was fine.
But I was there two days and the Wifi just didn't work. It wasn't just unreliable, which is how it started; it just wouldn't load pages and information. My room was in the basement, and sometimes it would work in the lobby... until I went to my room. The staff tried to show me it was working, but I even invited them down to the room to witness it. They said they would restart the router, etc, and when I returned after going out the first day they said it was fixed and of course in my room it wasn't. I'm a computer tech and I support phones all day and there wasn't any issues with my phone or iPad. I finally had to go stand outside at the corner pub to use their wifi and book a new room with Hotels.com. Even getting internet through my cellular connection on my phone was spotty at best; I'm guessing the location of the room played a big part. I asked them to move me to a new room and they told me they had nothing free.
They sent me an email after I left and again stated the internet was fine. For me, I can't be in a new city and not be able to use Google maps or other info I can only get online. They need new routers and one for the downstairs area, IMHO; and then there would be no reason not to stay here.

Honestly way better than I expected. Very quiet room with a lovely view of the skyline and a decent little breakfast and fast service. 24hr receptionist and no need to worry about losing keys as they store them whilst you're out. Beds were comfy and shower was hot. Plenty of towels and nice atmosphere

The hotel is a bit far from downtown, but is pretty close to underground and bus station. It is also pretty safe and staff are quite nice.

Vegans and people who care about service: Do not come near.
While the reception staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast staff was absolutely rude and impatient. I arranged with the hotel a vegan breakfast in advance (which is also on their menu) but wasn't served one. The kitchen staff actually had no idea what vegan is. I was served an egg omelette and the breakfast waitress argued with me that vegan is vegetarian (!). I tried to explain the difference but she literally rolled her eyes and went away, complaining that "everybody wants something different", yes, in those very words. Then I was served a "vegan breakfast": a half-empty plate, basically removing whatever was not vegan from the normal plate and leaving it like that.
Management was not present at any point during our stay. After discussing the problem with the receptionist, I've sent a complaint email to them, requesting them to refund me the worth of breakfast which was encumbered in the price. They refused, falsely arguing that I was offered to be served the vegan breakfast again and refused it (at no point was I offered that, also the whole ordeal took about half an hour at which time we had to leave).
Conclusion: I paid for a breakfast which I couldn't eat, got bad service and wasn't refunded.
Not recommended.

The service from hotel staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The room was basic and small but high ceilings. Very clean and could've done with a lick of paint to keep it looking fresh. Room was very hot so had to keep the window open. Bed was comfy enough but some of the side lights in the room didn't work.

The hotel was clean and much better standard than many at the same price point with breakfast included which was a real bonus. The only negative was the road noise and light due to poorly fitting blinds and double glazing window units that could do with an upgrade. Nothing earplugs and an eye mask can’t fix!

Worst hotel that I have been to. Terrible people in a terrible place. Find some where else to stay

Staff were great, very convenient location. Room a little on the small side but was ok. Unfortunately the bed was super uncomfortable and the remote for the TV was very very dirty. Would’ve been very disappointed if I’d paid full price (£96) with out club card points.

Room 22, two double beds. Comfy enough. Shower w/ shower gel on the wall.
TV in a strange place, couldn’t see it from either bed.
Didn’t sample breakfast.
Great if you’re off to a gig in Finsbury Park opposite. But don’t. Finsbury for a gig is a truly horrible experience! Go to football close by instead maybe?

Cheap night's stay if you've got an early train from Finsbury Park heading north. Hotel was clean and hard to find many places cheaper that weren't dismal. Staff very helpful. The mattress on the bed was a bit thin - my bum bottomed out on it. A bit hard to get properly hot water from the shower despite getting hot water fine from the taps. No AC but the fan in the room was helpful.
3.0
Nice staff at all times, however the rooms aren't great - poor ventilation, walls as thin as paper, light broken in bathroom.
But biggest issue is safety here. Can't suggest any lone woman stays here - you have to hand your key to reception each time you leave, and the method to get it back is to buzz the front door (in an area where I was twice followed down the street to the hotel by sketchy men in one night) and wait to get let in then give your name to get the key.
Also their doors are not a standard size so those nice portable hotel locks you use for safety won't work here which was very concerning as when I came back at one point a guy was watching on my floor to see what room I went into so I had to pretend to mess about with stuff in my bag and wait for him to go before going near my room door.
Ladies, don't stay here alone it simply isn't safe.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from Finsbury Park station, check in was fast and the receptionist was friendly. My room was located in lower ground floor, it was clean quiet but I haven't slept well, because I could feel the springs in the mattress. I haven't at breakfast at the hotel because I had to check out before breakfast time started.

Had a single room for a one night stop in London. The hotel is close to the tube stop, which is always a plus. The room was clean and service was good. The single room is a bit cramped but it was a single room. WiFi appeared to not work when I got back at night, but that aside, no complaints

No air-con, just a pathetic ceiling fan. Room was ok. But after checking out the hotel would not look after our bags so we could explore more of London! Every hotel I have stayed in have always done this with no issue!!!

was a good hotel, the room was very very hot even with a fan on.
there was only two sockets for charging phones.
staff super friendly
