It is a major conflict...to having a fog horn alarm every 25 seconds for 20 hours and during most of the night...and no air conditioning! I have to use a fan...which means I need to open the slider door to get the cool air into the room...but then that means I have to hear the horn = conflict.
I would pay an extra $25 for the same room for air conditioning.
...sooo...
Very difficult to get to sleep.
Otherwise...loved this place.
Good intecontinental breakfast..nice view...good service.

We’ve driven by this spot many times while visiting other places and finally made the stay a special Anniversary experience! The views from the room presented a spectacular sunset… the sounds of the ocean, seals and even the fishing boats made for a beautiful coastal experience. We’re looking forward to another stay!

I loved the hot tub right by the window that looked over the Ocean. The foghorn was loud if the balcony door was open, but if close, I was not able to hear it. The breakfast was great and the staff were amazing. If I ever go back to Fort Bragg, I am staying there.

Staff was great! Very friendly and offered food and entertainment recommendations. Room was clean and comfortable. View was very good. Only complaint was the proximity to the highway and the stairs. We were on the 3rd floor so there was a lot of stairs. I knew there wasn’t an elevator when I booked so that’s easily avoidable. Lots of items in the room to make the stay more comfortable. A fan, fridge, microwave, plates and silverware, wine glasses and an opener. Great experience all around.

Nice property but the Fog horn going off every 20 secs is annoying and the whole town lost internet while we were there. So no Internet or TV during our entire stay. Also, carpet was wet. Probably from the room jet tub that the people before us used.

Great property. Our room was perfect, it was clean & beautiful. The hotel complemented us with a bottle of wine upon arrival which was perfect since we were there to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We got the superior suite with the king bed and ocean view. The jetted tub was a plus and the fireplace was a nice added bonus not to mention the view of the ocean sitting on our private balcony.

The hotel is beautiful and the room was great with a refrigerator, a nice jacuzzi tub and nice balcony. The view of the water was amazing. The staff is super friendly.
Breakfast was good, but there’s no place to sit and eat so you need to bring breakfast back to your room to eat.
All in all, we loved this hotel! It was our favorite one in two weeks of travel. We would definitely go back!

The rooms are beautiful. The beds are nice. The walls were thin and we could hear the next room very well. Also shared a balcony with the next room so no romantic sipping wine on the balcony with rowdy neighbors 6 inches from you 😁

Stayed one night at North Cliff Room 208. It was horrible. The mattress and bed were so loud that we did not sleep a wink. Every time we rolled over or even moved at all, we could feel the springs of the mattress and the whole bed squeaked very very loudly. The room smelled musty and the neighbors staying over head us were very loud and we could hear everything. Last but not least, the view is lovely but the entire night and day, the fog horn went off loudly every 4 min. Felt very ripped off

It was perfect in every way, for our honeymoon. Spa tub and fireplace and ocean view/and sunset. Just one suggestion, for breakfast something available besides sweet pastry, and a couple fruit selections. Overall, top notch!

Hotel with Nice location, room with very nice ocean view and good amenities. But, the non stopping fog /navigation or military horn sounding about every 30 seconds, non stop 24 hours!! Couldn't leave the balcony door, for ocean view or sound, open barely at day time, let alone at night. This continuous nuisance should have been disclosed somewhere prior to booking.
