Beautiful old Swiss wooden cabin. Easy to access interlaken. By bus or by walk. Be prepared for very low roofs. If you’re taller than 5,6” it can be a little claustrophobic.

The breakfast was good, the room was clean and the food from their restaurant was good.

I didn't like that our room was too small, both the room area (length and width) and the height (it's not normal to hurt my hands in the ceiling while changing my t-shirt, if the room costs 190 CHF / night). I noticed that other rooms are bigger (only the room area, because the height is almost the same), so maybe it was a bad luck. Also, it seems that in the hot summer days they need an air conditioning system because it felt very hot in our room.

We stayed in July and the daytime temp was about 25 c. Room was very hot every night despite using a fan and having all the windows open(we woke up every night of our three night stay sweating). We think that the mini bar was kicking out a lot of heat but couldn’t figure out how to switch it off. Pillows were terrible! As thick as a piece of duvet I don’t think the hotel ceiling heights would be Suitable for anyone over 5 ft 10. I am 5 ft 7 and was very close to the ceiling and door frames and hit the light fitting!

Arrived at the hotel late at night. Thanks to the staff for leaving the keys under the mat at the front door. But all the good things ended there. I was surprised to find earplugs next to the bed. At that moment I thought - why? The answer came at 5 o'clock in the morning. As it turned out, the hotel is located almost on the roadway and therefore the noise from the transport passing through it was perfectly audible. Neither earplugs nor a closed window helped. I didn't get any more sleep. I lay with a headache until 8 a.m. and started calling booking.com. But the booking team did not respond to my complaints in any way. Then I called the reception with a request to change the room to a quieter one. But they told me that the hotel is fully booked, and it is impossible to change the room, and they also said that the noise is heard in all rooms. After that, I paid for this nightmarish night in this hotel and went to look for another one. I came to Interlaken for the holidays to relax, not to treat my headache. In my opinion, there should not be such hotels in Booking and the Booking team should be attentive to the complaints of their customers

The hotel was sweet and cozy. Loved the small buffet breakfast. 15min walk to Interlaken train station, bus stop only a few metres away from front of hotel. 10 min walk to main strip of Interlaken. Laundromat a few metres down the street. Place was spotless clean.

Only suggestion would be for more comfortable pillows.

The hotel offered very poor value for money in my opinion but that may be a reflection of Interlaken prices. It was by far the worst value of anywhere we've ever stayed in Switzerland. The room was small, minimally furnished and somewhat malodorous. Above all, it had no kettle, etc. for tea and coffee, though there was the use of a kettle and free teabags, etc. in the breakfast room. It had not listed a kettle but I had foolishly assumed all hotels provide them nowadays. The lesson is: pay careful attention to the small print and, probably also, do not expect a lot for your money in Interlaken.

The location facilities are excellent. Good value for money. It exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness was upto the mark. The rooms are quite big.

Beautiful and well conserved building with very nice view from the window. The room is nice with modernized bathroom. the bed is comfortable. Also good breakfast. Location is conveniently accessible from Interlaken west within walking distance and nearby several bus stops. Staffs are very nice and helpful.

There is no lift but it is OK for me.

The location is great, there’s a bus stop near the hotel going to Interlaken West. The area is quite nice. All in all, the stay was good.

`Decent sized room that was clean and the hotel had a traditional feel to it. The breakfast is fine and it is not too far from both Interlaken train stations. The staff were very helpful, so overall a very pleasant stay.

The bathroom is new！ The breakfast is good!

The location is a little bit far from interlaken ost station. Because there is a restaurant downstairs, there is a cooking smell at the corridor of hotel. Narrow stairs for different moving luggage. no elevator.

Cozy place with friendly personal. Excellent breakfast!!! Very well location. Amazing mattress. Nice shower. Free parking. Affordable cost....what else to expect?
