The service of this hotel is very lacking. They will not work with you for anything - death of immediate family member; canceled ferry; etc. They are unwilling to even meet customers half way. Book the Chora Resort and be ready to lose money!

Lovely small hotel, very clean, great pool. Convenient location for Chora restaurants and bus stop. Breakfast isnt very good, stale bread and cereal. Staff are very friendly and professional.

This was a horrible stay. I booked a room that advertised several beds for 3-4 people. The room type is not suitable for more than 2, however. They have a couch with a thin cushion (not a mattress) that they consider a bed. I feel cheated by this false advertising. The management is also horrible. Regarding covid, it seems they really don’t care. They have a buffet style breakfast. The food options are very low grade but beyond that the whole set up is very unhygienic (especially during covid). There is no service - guests can just come and grab things as they please so you really can’t know how the food was handled (if someone put something back, for example, which I did see happen). Not even the coffee was okay. Very cheap machine. Unbearable taste. The accommodations are also very tight. There is nowhere to comfortably put your luggage other than the front entrance so you essentially have to walk around your stuff the whole time. The bathroom is the same. You have the squish in to move the door to close it and get into the shower. The products are very cheap. The bedding isn’t comfortable. The power at the hotel actually went out 2x while there. It didn’t last long but I noticed this did not happen to surrounding hotels. There was no functional WiFi. It really did not work. At best it was an inconsistent flickering one bar and impossible to browse the internet. Be careful -they also own other hotels. Don’t recommend. Island offers many better accommodation options.

Our stay was simply perfect. From the moment we arrived at the Port we were picked up by a private shuttle and brought to the resort. Thanos the concierge is one of the most genuine and kind people we have met throughout our 3.5 weeks in Greece. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the poolside breakfasts are plentiful and delicious. The pool is magnificent and quite arguably the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay on the hidden gem island of Folegandros.

Great hotel with an amazing view.

My only complaint would be that the mattress was very uncomfortable.

We had a very nice stay here! The staff is very accommodating and the breakfast is great! They allowed us to check in early and helped us plan out our quick stay. The pool is very relaxing. The room was as expected but they gave us robes and slippers which was very nice. We didn’t have time to use their spa services but next time we come I would love to!

Superb room for cleanliness and location. Staff very friendly especially Maria who seemed to do all the catering! The pool was beautiful and the surroundings very chic. Prices were also very competitive for on-site food and drink. The only criticism I have is for the breakfast. I have stayed in many 4/5 star hotels around the world and this was without doubt the worst breakfast I have EVER had! You had to set your own place, coffee was from a machine, the juices were very limited choice and synthetic, the fruit was tinned and again limited to two choices and as for the hot options the only thing I could eat every day for 8 days was a fried egg! Sometimes there was also scrambled egg( which was disgusting) or mushrooms but the same utensil was used for meat options so I couldn’t choose them anyway. As a vegetarian the whole thing was something to be endured and certainly not an enjoyable start to the day. Overseeing the whole sorry procedure was poor Maria who had to do everything on her own. I realise this is the end of season but in town my family enjoyed much better quality breakfasts at the local cafes making Maria’s excuse that “ this is Folegandros” when I challenged her null and void.

Very nice location. The hotel could be very nice but needs refurbishing and attention to detail. Very smelly mold in the closet made it impossible to store our clothes. Reception staff ok but the rest of the staff seem to be too few and need training in service management and attention to detail. The pool area looks very nice.

Great stay at the Chora Resort. Nice property just a few minutes from the main square. Great breakfasts in the morning, fast WiFi, awesome pool. Staff could have been more friendly.

We enjoyed very much our stay at Chora Resort. The staff was more than helpful. We had booked a garden view room bur because of availability we were transferred to a pool view one which was quite nice . Also, the place has a very nice atmosphere with a very nice view and we enjoyed very much the time in the pool. I would highly recommend the place.

Truly unique - though breakfast buffet could be improved.

As we sit eating our last breakfast, we are extremely sad to leave this beautiful island. This resort is picturesque. Our room was adorable, the view was magnificent and everything was clean, white and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed drinking by the pool. Excellent service from the bar with a lovely clean pool. The location is a short walk from the main shops and restaurants. Overall 10/10 would stay again.

We had a fantastic time at the Chora Resort. The hotel was beautiful and very well looked after. The buildings were very pretty, the rooms were a good size, clean and quaint and the pool area was fab - full of lovely sunbeds, a few hammocks and a very large swimming pool. The food was good and the staff were all very friendly. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in! Folegandros is a beautiful Island, a real hidden gem!

Wonderful hotel, good service, huge pool, great location in town. Old style furniture in rooms gave it a grandmas guest room feel. Good breakfast & wifi.

Hotel staff helpful and supportive. Free transfers to/from the port on arrival and departure.Good breakfast and good food in the hotel restaurant. A large swimming pool. Immaculate, clean and secure room. Close to local bus terminal going to the port and beaches. I had a good time wandering through Hora village and taking a boat trip around the island with 5 swimming stops.

What a wonderful place and perfect location!!! The rooms are super nice, the pool is beautiful, the breakfast is all that you need, the staff is nice e polite and helpful! Well be staying there again next year, for sure!

We spent 5 days in this marvelous island. Chores Resory is great value for money. Near the main village and car rental. Beautiful swimming pool and very nice, clean and comfortable rooms.

We stayed at Chora for 3 days and wish we could have stayed for longer. This is a beautiful hotel, we loved everything about it! Fantastic pool, great comfortable spacious rooms, helpful staff. The only negative was the food - breakfast is delicious and there's a great variety to choose from but lunch and dinner choices are limited and not very well cooked, this really needs improvement. We had a pizza at lunch that was burned on the edges and undercooked underneath and fish pasta that was overcooked and included crab sticks (which are not actually sea food at all!). Other than that the hotel is great and within walking distance to many great places to eat as well as next door to a bakery that does delicious ice cream and cookies!
