Mildew or mold on shower door where connection to other glass part,

The property looked luxurious from the outside to the lobby. Our room was clean, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The ice machine outside of our room was very loud and you could hear it from our room.

Cancelled my reservation in error when i already pre paid. Made me feel like i did something wrong. Finally made it right but very scary half hour when I didnt think my family was going to have a place to stay on a busy weekend with no rooms in town

Grerat staff!

The bathroom was not clean. There is significant mold in the shower and along the walls of the bathroom area. They are understaffed at predictably busy times making the wait to check in very long.

Rooms are a bit dated for the surrounding hotels but the friendly staff, included breakfast, and free drinks at happy hour more than make up for it.

Embassy is located in a great area, close to restaurants and shopping. Walkable to The University of Alabama. But…. For the price…. My room was clean, but wall paper was coming off the wall, the tub needed caulking. Just not worth the $400 a night I paid. But then again I get it, it is move-in week at Alabama. This hotel is closed with $1000 a night during football season. The happy hour was wonderful and the breakfast in the morning is wonderful as well! Great omelettes.

We went to check in at 10:30pm after a day of travel and our room was not ready. We waited over an hour for housekeeping to clean a room for us. The front desk never kept us updated, I always had to go and ask for updates. We were not the only people waiting for a room either. The entire weekend we were there we never had our room refreshed or towels exchanged. Not sure if we’d stay there again.

Room very worn—

I've stayed at this property in the past, and enjoyed everything about it. This time I need to coach you regarding breakfast: one morning the grits were cold, the next morning the pancakes were cold. Now!, I take an analysis of what was happening those mornings. The staff was doing the best that they could based on the staffing on hand. They were pulled in so many directions to keep up with the various demands. Even at this, it was a good stay.

It was a great hotel to stay in, surrounded by lots of local joints for food and coffee and walking distance to riverwalk.

The wallpaper was peeling in the bedroom, there were all kinds of smudges and hand smudges on the white doors to the bathroom. The toilet was crooked, and you could see the caulking outline from when it was straight. The parking was extremely limited, and only two handicap spots available, and being disabled , that was a major inconvenience. The hot tub was down, and the pools chlorine was so strong, it burned our eyes as the room doesn’t seem to be well venerated. We loved the breakfast, and the staff was wonderful, accommodating and pleasant. The bed was the best sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. I wish I could have kept a pillow. I loved them. The pull out couch was also not bad, but you had to make it yourself. I love the fact that the complimentary bath products provided were chemical free, dye free , and fragrance free. That stood out to me well. And the hot tea available for breakfast provided with milk and honey, chefs kiss. Overall, it was a great place to stay, just needs notice to a few areas. We stayed in room 715.

Gym and pool were very nice, so was breakfast and the happy hour coupons are a nice touch. Suite was nice.

Restaurant limited but adequate..relatively expensive..staff good. Free two drink happy hour a nice touch. Has the nice feel of large, old fashion hotel. Seems well maintained. I'll stay here again if need arises!

Great stay

Great hotel, especially with the happy hour and the breakfast

For a quick weekend getaway, everything was great. I liked how clean everything was and really liked the buffet full course breakfast. The complimentary snacks in the room was a nice added touch. There were only a couple of things I would've liked better, one a smart tv instead of the basic older style tv and two, a full size ironing board instead of a small table top kind. We would definitely stay again though because overall everything was good.

Cleanest motel ever. Smells wonderful. Huge rooms with really big bathrooms and the sitting area in room was great. Plenty of space. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful place! My husband and I were only in town for one night, but our stay was fantastic.

Surprisingly very good hotel. Honestly I was not expecting this when I reserved the hotel.

Pets are allowed in this hotel. I had to change hotels because I am allergic Also one person allowed their pet to pee on the sidewalk

One of the best hotels overall that I have ever stayed in. The staff was amazing, the food was great and the location was perfect. Parking was easy and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable.
