The place was very nice and clean. I truly loved the breakfast and lunch options. The drinks were pretty good too. It has a pool with beautiful views. Truly loved it !

Beautiful scenery but was under construction

Pros: Beautiful scenery, good food, direct access to river, there was hot water, the pool was nice Cons: staff was not very attentive or accommodating even though we were part of a wedding with events and guests at the hotel, our room was not clean, we were greeted by a dead centipede in the shower and 2 live ones within the floor towel, and encountered over 10 of them in our room through out the course of our stay, one even managed to get on the bed (we were on the lowest level, guests staying on the upper levels didn’t have the encounters with them but still experienced other bugs), shower heads are crusty may be due to the hard water Overall, if you want a beautiful scenery but don’t mind bugs and are okay with not having a polished room, this would be a decent choice.

My favorite part of my stay was the river, especially when we were sleeping the noise from the river was lovely. My husband and enjoy that the most.

Our room was just above the swimming pool. The music was played so loudly we COULD NOT REST in our room during the day or early evening. The pool was supposed to close at 7 p.m. Though the pulsating loud music stopped at 7p.m., no one came to close the pool area down. Children were screaming, yelling, playing, etc. a good 2-3 hours each night of our stay, after the pool was supposed to close. We COULD NOT nap in, enjoy watching TV in, nor go to bed early in our room. It ruined our stay. We came here 3 years ago and loved the hotel (it's why we returned). We'll find an adults only site on future visits. The vibe of this hotel has completely changed since our last visit. We WERE impressed with the staff in almost every point of contact. We asked for help with the noise level, there was some improvement, but nowhere near enough to make our stay enjoyable. We were relieved to return home. The trip we'd so looked forward to was ruined (and I've never written a review like this one...we're usually adaptable. But short of going to another property and losing even more money, we toughed it out, and were relieved to depart).

The property was under construction at the time, it didn't really affect us that much, but it would have been nice to know about noise and sections closed down

The room that was assigned to us is in urgent need of a total renovation.

The pool was being painted and they turned off the hot tubs so we had to take a taxi to another hotel 8 minutes away to go swimming.

Rooms are small. Lots of stairs, NOT elevator. Staff helped us with the luggage. Reception staff was the least friendly of all the other stays in Dominican Republic We arrive early, (did not expect to check in early) but recieved a rude welcome that "YOUR ROOM IT'S NOT READY YET. " Best area of the hotel , THE RESTAURANT OVERLOOKING the JIMENOA RIVER

This hotel is really nice people are friendly and very relaxing

The property needs major updates, the pool was dirty and lining looks old and falling apart. Part of the hotel is torn down and closed off. The electricity went out 5 or 6 times and it took a minute for the generators to kick in. Nothing to do but karaoke Fridays and Saturday and no beach near by. The river looks nice but it had rained and it was dirty throughout our stay. Will never go back there The staff is very friendly and courteous

We stayed for 4 nights, we loved it. The place is amazing, the sound of the river at night is the perfect sounds to sleep in peace. Food was good. Many dinning options within minutes drive. I will definitely stay again.

Everything was excellent no complaints, staff is courteous and friendly.

We ended up here after a terrible experience somewhere else where we had to leave after only 2 days into our 4 night stay, so expectations were already higher than normal. The experience was great before we even arrived, i had contacted the property hoping for an early check in since we had checked out from the previous hotel. The front desk staff were very accommodating, professional and respectful. They allowed us to check in early and just driving up to the property which is perfectly hidden away was great. The staff both at front desk, the bar, rhe restaurant down to the ladies that cleaned our room were amazing and extremely attentive. The river right outside our balcony was amazing. The property was also gorgeous and well taken care if. The only thing that could have made our stay better was airport transportation from the hotel. Regardless it was well worth it and absolutely made up for the messy start to our trip. Will absolutely stay here again.
