The hotel was OK but my sink did not drain and when i mentioned it to the lady at reception over the phone the next morning and then again when i checked out at 12am she was unconconcerned - merely shrugged ger shoulders. This is not acceptable.

The harbour is great

Great location in a lovely place. Large room over looking the harbour. The only down side to that was a bit noisy in the morning. The staff were lovely and helped us with bags up to the room and could not have been more helpful. They showed us where to get free parking about 10 mins from the hotel

The room was very nice, friendly staff and the breakfast was wonderful. Location is excellent too. Our only complaint is the smell of the fish garbage from the adjoining restaurant that wafts into the hotel lobby. It’s not the hotel’s responsibility but they need to work out a solution with the restaurant owner or the hotel is likely to lose customers.

The location was wonderful! The people absolutely lovely! The only thing we didn't like was the smell at the entrance of the hotel and if you open the window. Which is a pity, because the view is fantastic and we loved the sounds of the people having dinner and the boats in the harbour.

The property has been recently renovated. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location couldn‘t be better

The hotel had a general aroma of fish (yes it’s by the sea- but this was more of a ‘fish factory’ kind of smell..) which was exacerbated by the fact that our two courtyard facing rooms were poorly ventilated. One had a fake plastic window which would not open. The man on the front desk the evening we arrived could not have been less welcoming. The room had no comforts whatsoever- there was a giant tube of shower gel next to the sink with which we were to wash our hands.. Plenty of nice looking hotels in St Martin at a similar price and I wish we had chosen one of them.

Situation idéale

We arrived late (11:30pm) and the front desk was closed, however they left left directions for me to get the key. Greatly appreciated!!! Wished there was an iron or outlet converters but it was an adorable hotel with a perfect location!

This is a two star hotel and was fair for that rating. We felt it was overpriced.

Location, locations, location! Perfect location but getting to parking a nightmare. No advanced instructions or map. Had to carry luggage 200 meters. Room small, WiFi spotty. No elevator. Getting luggage up 2 flights difficult.

Great hotel in a wonderful location. Friendly, helpful reception.

Despite being quite a functional hotel, the rooms were very clean and had pretty much all you needed. An excellent addition was the air conditioning and the heated (programmable) towel rail in the bathroom. Soap dispensers were in the bathroom and a particularly efficient hairdryer too. Towels were adequate and the bed linen was fresh and of good quality. Plenty of pillows available and there was an extra blanket if you needed it. The best thing was the location. Right on the port beside many restaurants. The car park was 100 yards away so not a problem getting quite close to the hotel. Worth the cost (free 8pm-8am) and about £2 an hour either side, for the location. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as advised not too by other travellers. Better value at the bar across the port!

Basic but great location

Hotel very well situated and staff friendly. Would have been useful to have password for accessing the town with the car through the password blocked barrier in advance rather than lugging luggage through the town. Decor rather dated and showers small. Lighting in room limited and bathroom bin not emptied from previous guests. No safes in room. Toilet flush broken and just continually flushed. With a little bit of attention it could really capitalise on it’s excellent position in the harbour.

We were originally placed into a different one than the one we booked. But after consulting with Hotels.com we spoke to the manager and were placed in the correct room. The room was lovely, with lots of sunlight. The port, restaurants, food, people and beaches were so amazing ... don’t forget to rent bicycles!!!

It was reminiscent of student accommodation. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was tiny, although it had a good shower. Room was clean.We thought we were paying for better and more comfortable accommodation and so were disappointed.

Was very pleased with the Hotel but very disappointed with Expedia as I booked and paid for a room overlooking the Harbour but was given a room overlooking the side street - you could see the harbour if you leant right out of the window - a very dangerous exercise! Perhaps that is their definition of a 'harbour view'!

Good clean hotel in an excellent position. Great view and atmosphere in the heart of the port. Double glazing and air conditioning both worked well to keep out the noisy bustle at night. Room was clean if a bit basic and small but good value for peak season

We had an enjoyable stay which was only spoiled by being charged for our room again when checking out having already prepaid when booking. Long term parking near to the hotel is very limited so be prepared for plenty of walking with bags/cases!
