The terrace was great. Room was very clean and well decorated. However, our Uber driver had serious difficulty in reaching the hotel. He had to drop us a few streets away and we had to carry our luggage all the way to the hotel. Last but not least, the hotel restaurant should allocate at least a few tables for the hotel guests. When we asked for a table for dinner, we were told that we have to book 2 days in advance!

Centrally located

The room was beautiful and the staff was very polite. Although the air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night our stay was pleasant. You need to pay for parking, but it is nearby. The restaurant in the hotel is very good, we ate there one night and would recommend it.

Lovely hotel with fantastic location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were really nice. The restaurant is exceptional. And the location next to the beach in the heart of the town is perfect.

It's a nice but older property. Just beware that if you are driving and never been in this area, you better have a small car & have some guidance because these street are very narrow, old street that can barely fit a large car. Property was nice but remember, these are older renovated building that are accommodate a "older" style of hotel. We went on the off season so it was a bit dead and not much was open but other than that, very quiet and quaint.

Excellent service and romantic stay

The hotel is nice for couples, i would recommend a room with an outdoor terrace if possible or view of the water, and it wont feel as cramped, as the hotel is a bit small. The area is a bit of a zoo and was kind of complicated to find the hotel and get close enough to it with the car to understand what was going on. I recommend calling them when you get close to get directions/help. The valet parking was convenient and easy, but they charge for it. The service in the restaurant is average. They are a bit slow and not very helpful. Drinks are good, food is good. Hours are a bit weird for food service. Location of the hotel is a nice spot in Saint Tropez, close to great shopping. Bring your wallet!

It was amazing, really. <3 I travel a lot and I love to stay in a good place. I found La ponche special since the first time I find it here in hotels.com. No one recommend it, but I want to recommend it for you. Our room had a magic view, and they were so sweet that had prepared balloons and a desert to welcome us. The location was perfect and the staff were very nice and polite all the time. The restaurant was very good, the food was very tasty. My only observation is about breakfast: we have paid for it before, but I am used to eat eggs and they were not included at the prepaid menu. They were very cool to prepare an omelette for me even though. So if you love eggs as me, is better to pay the breakfast over there and choose what you like from the menu.

This was our second visit to the property. The hotel is in a nice location and we agree with other reviews that it has a warm and intimate charm. It does however need some TLC as the air-conditioning in particular is an out-dated chilled water system that needs serious maintenance of better still total updating. With temperatures rising to uncomfortable levels air-conditioning becomes a major factor for a hotel. Please keep the charm and change the air-conditioning !!!!!!

The hotel has an excellent location, surrounded by many local eateries and shops, and only a 10 minute walk at the most to the main marina in St Tropez. The reception staff could not have been more helpful. 100% highly recommended.

Extraordinary location at the heart of mythic St Tropez center !

Location is perfect.I stayed in a very unconfortable Classic Room definitely super overpriced, extremely small,a very dark room with an extremely small window that faces a wall 80 cm away.When curtains are closed, they are over the AC unit, not permiting the air to flow.

Refined, discreet, chic, great location and we met the spirit of St Tropez herself, Madame Duckstein. Could not have been happier in a hotel. We had room 19, the Françoise Sagan junior suite. Fantastic! Like a dream. Divine views over La Ponche beach and bay of St Tropez

Stayed for 4 nights and was a great experience - only thing is you can’t really get to the front of the hotel at all by car, so we went around in circles for ages before having to drag our luggage around. Other then that - room was amazing and staff were friendly ! Room service was delicious also

Amazing authentic hotel in an old building right in the center of town, minutes from the port and walking distance to everything you need. I wish they offered a shuttle to the beach clubs like some of the other 5* hotels in the area, though, as cabs are pricy. The staff here is helpful and took care of all my needs for me.

Reception Staff: Fabulous! Helpful, kind and pleasant. Room: Nice clean room with lovely little bathroom and wonderful outdoor terrace. House-keeping: Good turn-down service with shutters and curtains being closed on most days and lovely chocolates; disappointed that teabags were not left everyday nor refreshed during turn-down; a cleaning cloth was left in our bathroom on one occasion. Restaurant: For a Michelin restaurant I would expect better. The fillet of fish had so many bones in it that much remained uneaten because it was simply too much effort to eat; steak was very tough and potato with truffle was stodgy; wine was brought in a glass to the table and not poured at the table; breakfast was ordinary. For a restaurant in such a remarkable location there is so much potential to be better. Room Service: 45 minutes and two telephone calls for a coffee - really ?
