The breakfast buffet was very good, pancakes for the kids, fresh bread with an excellent variety of toppings including smoked and cured salmon. The sauna was very nice (note that it is a co-ed shared sauna). But the indoor pool was not heated (at least not sufficiently for my taste). Much of the area around the hotel was under construction. The library room was closed due to remodel. The room was very nice with a bunk bed for the kids.

We stayed in the new building and it was quiet and comfortable. The comforters on the bed were very effective in keeping us warm at night and the heated bathroom floor was appreciated. The location is close to the old police station bus stop, a plus for those coming from or to the airport.

Rooms were clean and simple, quiet despite lots of people staying. Only complaint was that WiFi was really spotty- would drop frequently and poor signal at our room. Otherwise OT was all fine!

Breakfast at the hotel is delicious and you can pick from a variety of options. Bread is just made fresh and delicious. Pub is also nice, good ambiance, good drinks, and burgers are great

This hotel was a great place to stay for a few days in Kiruna. Several great dining options were available at the hotel as well as nearby. The accomodations were clean and comfortable even with below freezing temperatures outside. This hotel will be top of my list to stay at when I return to Kiruna.

Hotel is comfortable and modern, tho they are doing some construction, so parking is limited. The gym is the best I've ever seen in a hotel for weight training. Seriously- more stuff than my local gym. Awesome. No cardio equipment. Not sure why the stairwell stank so much - I assume it's a temporary problem.

We had a nice stay at the Arctic Eden. It is a nice hotel with many amenities. Enjoyed the sauna, restaurant and breakfast .

What I would expect from a property away from the big city. A rough spots, but not particularly annoying: Bathroom design, shelf space, I would return to this property. Staff friendly and accommodating. Good experience.

Check in not ready at 3pm, no massage despite being supposedly offered, sauce malfunction and dirty, poor neighborhood.

My highest recommendation. They say they have the world's best breakfast and it's true - even reindeer sausage and two kinds of salmon. We love the uniqueness of this hotel because it used to be a school. All rooms have high ceilings and beams; bathrooms have heated floors. We have stayed three times and will be back. Our room on the 3rd floor had an exposed brick wall (1st floor room did not). Extensive and clean gym. Nice sauna and indoor pool. Even a library with books and magazines to take. Good location. No negatives at all.

Its hard to say much about this hotel, they are trying to reconstruct an old school building into hotel. Rooms are large, good "family rooms" but to have to carry heavy suitcases in stairs is nothing for me ... Give them a year and it will most likely be much nicer and more comfortable for everybody. The parking lot needs plenty of help ... But it is clean, comfortable beds and good breakfast.

As the building used to be a local school and now its beautifully reformed as hotel. The structure of the building is rather strange having staircases everywhere around but the rooms and restaurants are well made and it was very comfortable. Very good hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Arctic Eden. The pub in the hotel had a delicious menu. The staff was very accommodating and helpful as well. We asked for help on several different subjects including bus schedules and tours, and they were more than happy to help. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. It is a great location too, as it is within in walking distance of several bus stops and the bus station. Totally worth your money!

Our stay here was great in every way, we arrived far earlier than check in time due to the arrival time of our train and they were most accommodating in trying to get our room ready as early as possible, allowing us to store our luggage, recommending somewhere for breakfast/ lunch. Room was comfortable, shower in room great, ambience in the hotel bar/ restaurant great and just what we needed after a long day out

First room we got was cold as a freezer, but the second one was fine. In the restaurant only pizza was served, but it was fine. Breakfast was good, except all warm dishes were only lukewarm at best at 8 am. There was ample parking and location was good as well.

The rooms are a bit tired (#302) and the cleanliness of the bathroom left to be desired. The access ramp is pure gravel, that's an easy fix, such a shame. Good service though, the staff is between OK and friendly.

Very satisfied with my booking. When I arrived I kind of wondered about the outside of the hotel. But renovation is under way and nothing that disturbed my stay. Inside very nice and very friendly staff. Helpful with guidance and useful info. Sauna and pool in basemant and nice breakfast!

A hotel in the north should be able to heat the breakfast area even though it is -23C outside. Also it is very strange to not have a warmer pool. Good breakfast however and a good room.

Great hotel and even greater people working there

From the outside it doesn't look promising, a mid-20th century school building turned hotel with a gravelled parking lot. The inside however has a nice contemporary standard, good breakfast buffet, relax area with sauna and a large pool. The gym area is shared with a local gym, meaning it is far more well-equipped than your standard hotel. Nice Thai restaurant in the same building plus fast food restaurant offering reindeer/moose subs across the street.

I stayed in this hotel for once night as a stopover to Abisko. While I didn't get to take advantage of its amenities, I liked the fact that they have a sauna and gym on site that guests can take advantage of. The room itself was clean, moderately sized and offered a nice view of the mountains. This location also seemed close enough to restaurants and various sites to visit in the city. Their breakfast was pretty awesome! You have a plethora of pastries, waffles, pancakes, bread, cheeses, meat, eggs, fruits, and veggies to choose from. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and they even called a cab for me to get back to the airport in the morning. The only con is that the shower enclosure was small. I'm 4'11", weigh 100lbs, and even I felt cramped with the door closed. You do have the option to shower with the shower door open so if you can deal with a wet toilet, this may not be a big deal for you.
