Since my arrival at the lobby, the staff was super friendly, kind, and helpful, all the way until the day of my departure—5 stars for everyone. It was an excellent decision to have chosen Wish Hotel.

The resort is excellent. The areas are very clean and pretty. The people are very friendly. The only bad thing is that the pool closes at 6 pm. There is no way to enjoy it because the travel packages to the beaches around arrive at 6 pm or later. There is no way to enjoy the pool.

Absolutely loved the pool, the lobby, the balcony from our room! I found the room big with a hot shower, safe and 2 large beds, large TV. My husband would say the room needed a slight redo in paint, and a bit of cleaning (front door had hand prints, AC vent had chipped paint) etc and I can say I don't disagree. All in all the room was very comfortable.
Staff were very friendly even to us NY'ers struggling to speak Portuguse. The pool staff, buffet staff, lobby staff were all so friendly.
Only gripe for me was: the unavailability of quick sandwiches, salads, etc. Maybe being americans we are used to that... To pick up a quick lunch for the room to enjoy without the formality was almost impossible. You have to go through room service (which is great don't get me wrong, but for every day it's too formal), the buffet or the malta &/or pool service. Room service didn't work for us with the QR code so we had to keep going down to order.
They have the room in this expansive resort, would be nice to just grab a drink, sandwich, coffee, or sandwich (for those traveling w/ kids) to go.
The resort is about a 10 minute taxi ride at least from the main shopping, eating out area. So, although great that it's far away the convince of quick meals to go wasn't offered. And that is tough for families used to being able to grab a quick bit without room service.
But a wonderful stay and lovely resort! We stayed for 8 days. From NY USA. Long flight to get here!!

The stay was very good. We were upgraded to a larger suite with a balcony and water view which was very nice. The room itself was not properly cleaned when we arrived which was disappointing but to avoid further delays I did not communicate this to the front desk so I have to be transparent about that. We found open water bottles in the mini bar and candy wrappers under the bed as well as the toilet being dirty in the bathroom. Other than that the room was fine in terms of cleanliness.
Another thing we did not like was that the sliding door to the balcony did not close properly. Even when locked there was a gap between the doors so if someone on the outside wanted to open the door they could easily slip something between the doors and unlatch the lock so every night we were tying the door latch with string so that it could not be slipped open. The hotel itself was very safe and we didn’t feel unsafe at any point, but you can never be too careful and we felt this was disappointing in terms of personal safety in the room.
Other than that we had a wonderful stay. The pool was very clean and pleasant to use, the buffet breakfast and dinner were SO delicious and we always found something new to try every morning and night. The buffet area was kept incredibly clean with consistent supervision from staff. We also utilized the spa and had a pleasant and relaxing experience. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay despite the downsides I described.

Hotel is very family friendly. Customer service was excellent from the moment you check in. Food had a variety of selections from Breakfast, Lunch, to Dinner. Hotel is beachfront and the views are spectacular.

Se o propósito for viajar em Família, o hotel é satisfatório. Se for viajar em casal ou para relaxar, não atende ao propósito. O valor da diária, contudo, é excessivo para ambas as propostas. As áreas comuns estavam muito cheias, o SPA não tinha vagas para nenhum de nossos dias de hospedagem e o café-da-manhã decepcionou.

Biggest issue was with hotels.com! I arrived too find the reservation wasn't sent to the hotel. when they tried to call hotels.com they claimed no evidence of reservation even though I had proof. I registered manually.At checkout,I was given a bill despite the fact that I paid. Finally, after extensive discussion and with help from Brazilian family, hotels.com found reservation! This was sloppy by hotels.com and should never have happened. Also, hotels.com should tell customers that if you don't speak Portuguese, you have no ability to communicate as very few staff speak English! This info should be available info during bookings. You should do the research as the booking site!
Having said that, the Wish is a beautiful hotel, has a very nice pool and beach, and the staff is extremely nice, polite and tries to be helpful. The breakfast buffet is great and provides a nice selection of the wonderful Brazilian fruit.

The hotel is very good, the staff is well trained and courteous. But there’s a few things that are still missing in order to be a 5 stars hotel, like cleanliness in some areas, like swimming pool bathrooms, restaurant lamps, Botha facades and the pool itself, also the hotel is very dated with no renovations. In my opinion it’s a very good 3 stars resort

Excellent stay, friendly staff, nice room, nice view, excellent pool, superb beach, calm, safe and with life guard on duty.
However, there is room for improvements, such as: not all breakfast items available on the last 60 to 90 minutes. No replacements, such as types of breads, juices, etc. Some servers are too eager to grab and take away without asking, plates, silverware etc while we are still eating. All this is easily resolved with a comprehensive meeting with staff members. Also, at the inside bar, not all menu item are available after the last 60 min of the opening hours, such as simple things: sandwiches and juices or deserts!
The only real serious disappointment is the concierge staff that is very kind (letters, nice msg, smiles, etc) JUST until they find out that the extra packages they try to sell you, are not of your best interest or it doesn’t fit your traveling needs and profiles. After that, no more messages and other kindness gestures.

It was not crowded by other hotels. The gym was sufficient, the pool very nice and a great beach. Not like - my online request for service to the room took 2 days before completing.

Room refurbished but not entirely, not perfectly, some issues as rooms old (paints, door,...).
We have had 2 rooms one for us one for the kids and many things were missing in one room vs the other : chairs, table outside, glasses, ... we have had to call several time reception.
Not enough long chair outside vs number of habitations and size of the pool, it is a pity because people are very friendly and very nice, hotel is very nice outside, the spa was under refurbishment but seems nice. Be careful vs photos game room for adolescent is now very limited.
