I have been to this property for work previously but I’ve loved the staffs hospitality and the area, that I’ve come back for vacation stays! Can’t recommend this property enough! I love it!

Really nice hot with great facilities but, as it's a listed building, lots of stairs and no lift so be mindful of this if you have a lot of luggage.

Breakfast was great and the serving staff exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

The property is well maintained and staff is very accomodating.

Stairs along corridor are a nuisance especially with suitcases etc Pillows are scarce Shower head is too low

Room was dirty with two items found. Old milk bottle under one bed and mouldy cereal in the wardrobe

We spent two night for our one year anniversary, wondefful servuce, the hotel gave us a conplimentary bottle of prosecco. The spa facilities are wondeful and the brrakfast is great, free parking, beautiful sarrounding areas, ate in a great steak place close by. Fantastic experience

Excellent customer service. Especially from the man who checked us in late and the breakfast staff in the morning.

Lovely hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food was wonderful and room was clean and spacious. Convenient location with brilliant facilties and good parking. We overall had a lovely stay, thank you.

Room was fabulous size with balcony which was good as I am disabled and needed the extra room for walking with crutches but not the low bed offered in a disabled room

The staff and courteseousness of the staff here exceeded expectations. The room was outstanding as was the extensive buffet breakfast!

All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Bedroom had everything I needed.... blackout blinds, air con, quiet. Breakfast was great.

We didn't like the 2 single beds put together to create a King and the pillows weren't good quality. A walk in shower would also be great for that star rating. The courtyard could do with updating. Hotel has no lifts and had to walk up stairs with bags and got a room right at the end, completely exhausted by the time i got there. On a different note the hotel hasn't been understanding about an error that was made with double booking and I've had to pay twice for a stay. This was all an issue with the app not showing the first booking until it just appeared on the date of my stay. Not even a offer to stay a different day or a discount or a spa pass. The only thing I enjoyed was the spa

Who ever is in charge of this hotel certainly has the finger on the pulse. All staff are lovely & very welcoming. Very clean spacious rooms. Nice restaurant with an excellent choice for Breakfast. Only use this hotel now, why look any further When needing to stay in this area.

The room was lovely. We opted for the king sized and had enough space for us and the view over the courtyard was very pleasant. Sofia who checked us in was really attentive and even called through to check that the room was of for us. Really lovely. We made use of the spa which was a little overcrowded and certainly not enough seating space for everyone there. The rest of the spa facilities were lovely though and we made use of them all. We booked in for dinner in the restaurant with Tiana, again another lovely member of staff that checked all of the details back with us and was really helpful. Dinner itself was delicious. Our waiting staff, I didn't catch their names, were attentive and helpful. We sat in the bar area after dinner and enjoyed a drink again served by the lovely Tiana who couldn't be more helpful. Her and her colleague were simply brilliant. Back in our room it was fairly quiet and couldn't hear any outdoor noise. The beds were comfortable enough and the bathroom was spacious although being tall the shower itself was too low for me!

Stayed here a few times now and been brilliant. Unfortunately we had a different room and there were squirrels or something in the loft above and woke us up throughout the night. Receptionist said she will investigate. Quote poor considering the cost of a night stay.

The hotel os very convenient for Gatwick, is well staffed, has beautiful clean facilities and a great restaurant. Would use again and recommend to others

The staff went out of their way to help my wife when I was delayed in my arrival.

Checking in took a bit long-nobody in reception for about 5 minutes But rest of stay very goid-rooms-breakfast

Great stop over near Gatwick. Lovely pool - warm and clean. Restricted pool hours for children. Breakfast was plentiful and a good range of options.

Spa gets busy and is sometimes unavailable to guests because non staying guests have booked spa days. This means you can’t even use the pool or steam room. Make sure to book a slot for the pool etc in advance.

although i boooked an accessible room it was given to a wheelchair user which I understand I was very impressed with the vegan breakfast options
