The resort was beautiful. The views were incredible. The only issue we had was the food service was either short staffed or lacked experience. It took a really long time for orders to be taken in the three instances we ate at the resort. The service at the bar was by far the best.

I thought this place was way overrated. Nobody there to open the door when you arrive with your luggage, nobody there to take your bags up to your room. Restaurant reservations made but the building it's in has multiple and there's no actual sign to let you know where you are so you end up trekking around. The waiter forgot to put our order in so we had to wait an hour after sitting down to get our entrees. The room was nice but it smelled slightly of smoke and looked right over the parking lot so anyone parking their car could see me unless I closed the curtains and walked around in the dark. Outside of the resort, the area is very meh with some casinos near by. There wasn't much walking to do here which was a real shame given the proximity to the lake. Some of the walking paths are simply prohibited unless you are playing golf (which makes sense but is disappointing). On the positive side, it was great to be able to walk right up to Lake Tahoe and sit on some chairs in relative peace and quiet, listening to the waves. The resort is clean and staff are polite and helpful. The hotel itself is nice, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't ever pay to go back here unless I wanted to play golf.

I felt the resort was an excellent property. However little slights like towels were of a quality that was of a more lower rated hotel. The room service was not very good or prompt. One day our room wasn’t cleaned until 4:00pm another day at 3:00 pm. That is unacceptable. They constantly took away our extra towels and did not replace the extras. The shower/toilet area with being in the same space had us wiping up the floor each time the shower was used. They tried to be advanced with this but it really does not work. The staff in general was excellent and helpful, although it was hard to communicate with them because of a language barrier. When I tried to walk the path on the golf course I was told because of liability I was not able to. Therefore I had to walk outside the facility. Not a very good practice. I would just sign a liability waiver and walk at my own risk.

I have no idea why this property is not a 5-star resort, because it definitely should be! The service here is definitely better than other 5 star resort brands. The morning yoga overlooking Lake Tahoe was wonderful. They are meticulous with every detail including a little poem and chocolate with turndown service every night. Definitely go for the 'lake view room" it was spectacular!

Edgewood is a great place to stay . Rooms are big and clean . Property is well kept . The hotel shuttle takes you 2 miles around which is very convenient if you want to go out . Hotel is pretty close to heavenly village, casinos and marina . Great private beach and jacuzzi . I will go back!!’ Love it !!

Spend a long weekend with business partners at the golf course and spa… all the grounds and amenities were pristine!

We’ve been here before and will always choose to stay at Edgewood Resort if and when we get back to Lake Tahoe. Love everything!

Beautiful and friendly staff. One even remembered me from the last time I visited.

I loved the spa facility. However, you need to purchase a message or treatment to enjoy the steam room and the jacuzzi. You get 3 hours to enjoy the spa facility which includes snacks and tea in the common co-ed area, refreshing drinking water outside the steam room, lockers, showers, shampoo, hair dryers, hair gel, make up remover. We also enjoyed the outside heated swimming pool which includes an amazing jacuzzi. The hotel includes three restaurants. The food was good. Our room was quiet and comfortable. I also liked the glass of champagne provided at check-in and the hotel shuttle that brings anywhere within a 2-mile radius from the hotel.

I love this place. Lake view room sit on the patio and enjoy. The food is great we love the bar area at the hotel as well. So much to do. The shuttle is AMAZING as well!

Overall perfect.

Beautiful location on the lake with semi-private beach. The grounds are immaculate as is the golf course. 3 restaurants plus room service. The outdoor gas fire pits are really nice.

The Staff was excellent - happy and friendly and eager to help in any way….

We loved our stay at Edgewood. Staff was top notch and the resort is amazing with spectacular views.
