Amazing hotel

The hotel is beautiful and they did a great job of getting us into a room when we arrived earlier than check in. Thankful for that. The location is good and easy to walk everywhere. Unfortunately, the person at the front desk gave us some bad advice about where to go for tapas and other things.. we spent our first day there is a not-very-nice area trying to find somewhere normal to eat. At the end of that day, we had concluded that we don’t like Madrid. However, the next day, we took a tour and found the best parts of the city. So beautiful! Finally turn down service was not consistent. We only had it one time.. and we didn’t know this so we had thrown our towels in the floor, thinking we would get clean…

Wow, this hotel was amazing…from front desk to door men to kitchen and breakfast staff. The room was beautiful and double soundproof was super quiet, we got some great sleep in a very comfortable bed. The shower products were of good quality, and any request I had was handled very fast. The breakfast buffet was very fresh and excellent. Best 5 star I have ever stayed in. Will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommend.

This is a phenomenal property in a brilliant location, very modern without being gaudy. Rooftop pool is a brilliant oasis in the centre of a bustling location. We didn’t eat in the hotel because there are so many brilliant places to eat nearby. We will definitely be back

Amazing location - 5minute walk to the palace. The hotel has parking which is a massive advantage! Easy to park too! The staff were amazing. Very helpful and polite. Beautiful room on the 16th floor. Amazing views. Restaurant and pool were great too. So pleased we stayed here for our 2 day trip to Madrid.

Very clean, modern hotel in Centro Madrid. Highly recommended.

I call these hotels - fake 5-stars. They have the stars on paper but this is not what I expect from them. Service is very very poor, in particular at the restaurant/pool. Employees are not nice and when asked for food or drinks, we can see we are bothering them (no poker face!). Not much speaking English either, super annoying for a 5-star hotel. There are only 16 chairs at the pool, 50% under the sun before 2pm. And an additional 25% booked, so not easy to have a nice spot there. That is a shame for an hotel with so many rooms. Breakfast was good and service there ok-ish. The woman welcoming us at the breakfast was really not nice. Gym is way too small with not much staff in there. Hotel is super well located though, which was convenient. When we came, they also welcomed the Spanish football team, which ended up being « fun » as unexpected, but a bit annoying as they privatised the 12th floor, so we could not access the restaurant anymore and there was not much notice or alternatives offered. I would love to come back as roomed are great but I am truly refrained by the service

Beautiful room, nice swimming pool and rooftop bar. The sofabed is not great to sleep on, so rather book another room.

I picked this hotel randomly on Expedia, price and location were right. From the moment we walked into the hotel, we felt the professionalism of each and every staff member we came in contact with. Unfortunately I got sick and the staff checked up on me daily, made sure I had food and when I had to go to hospital they supported me in every way possible. The staff made our stay there an unforgettable experience. The hotel Rooms offer everything we have experienced at 5 star hotels. Everything was fantastic. Best find. Would stay there again and highly recommend it.

Very well positioned for the Royal Palace and other historic buildings. Very close to good shopping and walkable to a lot of other attractions.

This is a very nice hotel perfectly located and I recommend . However extremely disappointing that over a three night stay access was denied on 2 consecutive evenings to use the sky bar because of external functions . Hotel offered words of apology by why do it ? The guest is paying for these facilities . In addition on our leaving morning the spa was also closed due to ” water issues” not sure why this would affect use of the sauna. O

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teenagers) stayed at VP Plaza Espana Design for two nights. This is a great hotel - clean, spacious modern rooms, helpful and friendly staff, nice facilities such as roof top pool and spa. The hotel is very conveniently located - close to Royal palace and Grand Via. This is the best hotel we stayed during our two week vacation in Spain and it deserves 5*.

Great stay at VP Plaza and central to Madrid. Highly recommended.

VP Madrid was excellent! Our checking was smooth and the young lady was excellent (Helena I believe was her name). Great place to stay and we wil be back

Cleaning services is just ok

Amazing hotel. Great location near the palace, shopping, old town and metro. Very clean. Excellent service.

staff are all kind, polite, and friendly. Amenity are made by l’Occitane. Mineral water is free of charge. Nespresso coffee machine is in the room. House cleaning is well done. Spent very comfortable stay in this hotel. The view from the room was Plaza Espana, very nice view. Metro station was just nearby, convenient. Used car parking in the building, which cost 33 euros per day. The entrance of parking is not easy to find for the first time. But good level of security. I would like stay this hotel again when coming to Madrid.

The VP hotel is excellent. It is one of the best hotel we stayed. Very close to all the good restaurant and Grab Via station. We love it vetry much. Will definitely will come back to try if they have in other city.

Hotel was very nice. Staff was excellent. On the main Plaza so it's near everything.
