This is a great guest house, the owner is friendly available and also let's you enjoy a sheltered safe space to enjoy your stay in a suburb of Brisbane. The parking is variable as in front of the house and the street is either empty or very busy but the room we were in at the back was very quiet in regards traffic.
The ferry is walkable and the bus stops outside the house for the city centre this was a great location for us and would stay there again.

A great place. Highly recommend it. Only one issue. They advertise laundry available which it is but they want you to do it before 4 pm. How is that possible. Im on vacation doing things not setting at the house during the day.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Brian was very helpful showing us a map of the best places to eat nearby and leaving us some Travel Go cards to get into the city on the boat.
The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable.
Some good restaurants nearby and the ferry station was only about a 20/25 minute walk away.
There are plenty of breakfast options in the shared kitchen (this is shared with other guests). Cereals, bread, juice, yoghurt and fruits were available each morning.

Lovely spacious accommodation with a beautiful garden. Huge bathroom with an excellent shower. Top location close to both Bulimba and Hawthorne cafes and restaurants. Brian was very welcoming and helpful.

Brian greeted us on arrival and went through the local attractions followed by inductions to the kitchen and room.

Brian is a very friendly host and the property is outstanding. Very easy walking distance to both Hawthorne and Bulimba for the ferries and cafes and safe parking out front. I will definitely be staying here again and recommend it anyone visiting Brisbane.

The host at BQ was very accommodating. He went out of his way to make sure our needs were catered for and was very helpful with tips about the neighborhood. The room was lovely and the back garden a delight.

We loved 10 night stay at Balmoral Queenslander. From the warm welcome we received from Brian on our later-than-expected arrival to our last day, we enjoyed every moment. Our unit at the back of the property overlooked a beautiful garden, and we enjoyed our continental breakfast (provided) there each day. The property is a short walk to nearby shops, cafes and parks. We look forward to a return visit.

Great location in a quiet peaceful area, beautifully maintained and very clean. Shops, restaurants and bars close by and a CityCat Ferry to cruise up and down the river just 15 min walk away.

My second time at Queenslander Balmoral. Luxurious and very comfortable accoomdation. Great restaurants within easy walking distance. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. I will be staying here again when next in Brisbane on business.

A perfect location within walking distance to bar, restaurant, river ferry... We met Brian who so welcoming, friendly host, he gave us a lot of helpful advise and information. A very spacious and luxury room with amazing beautiful garden!!! Just a 15 mins to Brisbane airport so we had a easy planning next morning. We definitely will stay here again.

I had an amazing stay at Balmoral Queenslander. The Queensland home is just amazing and my room was very well appointed with a huge modern bathroom and very comfortable bed. There is also full use of the adjacent and modern kitchen that is stocked with breakfast cereals, snacks, bread and preserves etc., and of course kitchen appliances. The back room where I stayed opened out onto to a beautiful patio that faced the well manicured garden where I could lay back on the modern outdoor furniture and enjoy a quiet beer and admire the garden. The place is just a short stroll to the village of Bulimba where there are many good restaurants. My only regret is that I was on business and not vacation where I could have better enjoyed my stay. I would highly recommend staying at Balmoral Queenslander for anyone visiting the Balmoral / Bulimba area in Brisbane.
