The Peninsula is okay. It has potential to be even better though. My apartment was new but lacking in warmth and convenience. No pictures on the walls and very basic kitchen amenities. It felt very utilitarian and cold, like nobody cared it you stayed there or not. It’s in a gated community that requires a car. Nothing in walking distance.

The house was in poor conition. Appliances were worn out and damaged.
Bins rusty and buckled, ice box missing the ice tray, draining rack rusty, Blinds slats falling off, ironing board no padding. Carpet in master bedroom frayed and worn. Garden furniture worn out and grubby with a cigarette burn hole in the cushion. Garden itself overgrown.

The property was extremely clean. It had excellent amenities. Was safe, secure and quiet. Walking distance to major supermarket. Very pleasant walking pathways. Highly recommend.

Convenient location however noise from main road is quite noticeable on the weekends. Just a little attention to detail would elevate the room's such as bath mats, the compendium actually be avaliable, dish rack, t-towels and minor repairs.
Would stay again however.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It felt like it was brand new. However, that also meant that everything looked like it had just been purchased from A-Mart ... that is, it serves a purpose but lacks character.

We have stayed there before in a different apartment which was much nicer. This one faced the road which was very noisy to sit outside. The apartment needed a lot of TLC. A shame as it was disappointing lots of things needed repairing which we told the reception about.
The little shopping center just out the gate is great with a nice variety of shops. We would stay again but make sure the apartment was up to scratch.

Did not like the fact that it was not clean .. cleaner had to bought in to clean under couch cushions, toilets and around the base of the toilet also around tiles surrounding the kitchen waste bin was not clean. Overall cleanliness standards need to be lifted.

Toilet roll holder installed upside down on a downward slope so toilet roll slipped off onto the floor
Garage door very dodgy remote which nearly trapped our car in the Garage. I had to use a broom handle to reach the manual button on the unit to get our car out.
Some panels of vertical blinds are missing leading to lack of privacy

Good location for the northern region of the Gold Coast with easy access to and from major roads and shopping. Apartment was clean with basic kitchen and cooking facilities supplied. However apartment was in need of some maintenance. AC didn’t work, shower rose leaked and some fittings in all bathrooms were loose. Despite the issues I would consider staying there again.

Needs some attention. Sheets were so old worn and thin, not nice to sleep on. Pillows and mattresses were hard as a rock. Cooking facilities- frypans and utensils were disgusting. We ended up buying new ones from Coles so we didn’t all get food poisoning. It sleeps six, there is no where to hang 6 towels in bathrooms when used, needs some hooks atleast.

Property has taken a withholding fee during checkin as a bond. This has not been returned. No information from the property as to why this has not been returned. The property was left clean and in good order on departure.

A few little touches would take this good property to great. Tissues in bathrooms, hand towel, salt n pepper, cling wrap and more dishwasher detergent in kitchen. Spare rubbish bags. The property was very clean 😊

Brand new apartment in gated community- lots of helpful communication from property managers. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Some construction but we were not disturbed by this at the time we stayed here. Could be an issue as properties on the street are all close together and there is some echoing up to the top floors.

Very convenient location for our weeken where we were attending memorial services at Vision Halcyon. Good privacy for 3 bedrooms. Requires more water glasses and coffee cups, extra towel racks and hooks on bathrooms, and handle on pantry door.

Amazing location and premises, this was our 2nd time with peninsula and we’ll look no where else in Gold Coast now, it’s the best, spacious, comfortable and has everything you need.

Great destination but property very dirty. Ants lots of areas not clean bedding stained floors filthy and the list goes on and on could do with a professional spring clean. Building itself lovely .
