The pictures do not do this cabin justice, you will not find a nicer place for 2-3 people to stay, and you won't find kinder hosts. Between the large kitchen, comfortable queen bed, back porch nestled against classic South Dakota rock all right on the edge of Custer, you won't be disappointed! I will say if you have more than 3, it could be a bit of an issue fitting them in unless they are kids (the living room couch bed is really only suited to 1 adult), but there is probably room for an air bed or something!

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It was a great home base for all of our adventures. Susan was super helpful.

We really enjoyed are stay at Paradise Land - Cabin B. The cabin was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. Everything you need is there. The location is great for visiting Custer state park, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Wind Cave National park. If we ever go back to Custer, we will definitely be staying here. Darwin and Susie are the greatest hosts. The cabin was great. Anything you would need is provided. Great location for seeing Custer and the Black Hills area. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

We had such a nice stay! The property is in such a great location and close to many attractions. This was probably the cleanest rental and most hospitable one we have stayed in. The owners were so thoughtful and had extra things like water if you don’t like the sink water, dog bags, and a backpack for hiking. The owners were friendly and great at communicating. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend others stay as well.

Susan saw to our ever need! The home was so clean and contained every item needed to have an excellent adventure. Love the binder with the home and area maps and directions for our stay. Enjoyed the Rock “ on the gorgeous deck. Spend our evenings grilling and drinking wine.. our host Darwin & Susan are outstanding people. We were only 10 minutes from the downtown of Custer, restaurants and shopping and Mickelson trail. Perfect getaway for a couple wanting to find peace and tranquility Ideal place❤️

We stayed i for three nights in this wonderful cabin. It was soooooo clean and offered a safe, quiet and comfortable experience. We were located close to Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore and had traveled over from Badlands National Park. There was coffee and all sorts of amenities to make our stay special. Even a bowl of chocolate treats in the fridge. Suzy was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again and recommend to other traveling family and friends.

Paradise Land Cabin was wonderful! Susie has thought of everything! The cabin was so clean and had every amenity you could want. It even came with some wildlife right outside the door. I would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional. Best place in Custer!

We loved this cabin! It was super clean, comfortable, and had absolutely everything you could possibly need ! It was close to downtown Custer, and we really enjoyed the back deck with grill and fire pit. Susie and Darwin were very sweet and fun to talk to! Great place and we will return !

I stayed twice in one week at this cabin with two separate groups of grandsons. Each group loved the cabin as well as our hosts. The games supplied were great, and we all enjoyed the fire-pit and patio! The sofa sleeper was comfortable and we enjoyed watching movies on the big screen TV in the evening! There’s lots to do in the Black Hills with kids and this was a perfect location!

I spent 4 nights at this cabin with my grandsons, ages 7-11 and we all loved every minute of it! Our hosts were so friendly and accommodating! My grandsons even enjoyed visiting with them! We were able to sleep four comfortably with the bed and the sofa sleeper. We were here during the Sturgis Rally but inside the cabin it was especially quiet … well, minus the noise from little boys! Susie and Darwin have thought of everything for their guests! The kitchen is better equipped than my one at home! It is exceptionally clean and cozy! The location is not far from downtown Custer. And we enjoyed many of the local restaurants including The Pizza Mill and Baker’s Bakery! I will definitely revisit the cabin the next time I am in the Black Hills. I have made many lifetime memories with my grandsons, and I suspect that when they are older, this will be a place they will revisit and talk about again!

Wonderful cabin good location and great host/hostess

We had driven for many days, this cabin was such a relief. It was very clean, had every possible thing you could need, completely comfortable. You could easily stay there and feel at home.

Beautiful well stocked cabin with all the comforts of home

This cabin is super clean. We have stayed in vacation rentals for 15+ years and this rental tops all of them for cleanliness and amenities. Very quiet yet close enough to walk downtown. The owners live on the property and are readily available if you need anything. Technology is updated and everything worked well. Plenty of outlets to plug in all your gadgets. Our dog loved having his own blanket so that he could sit on the couch and look out the window. Nothing negative to report, definitely worth renting.

Having Darwin and Susie next door as neighbors for a couple days was an added bonus to a well maintained, clean, and enjoyable home.

My wife was overwhelmed when we opened the door. An extremely nice property.
