Nice but inadequately supplied

Don't expect a 4-5 star accommodation. This location was the perfect place as a place to sleep at night. There's no patio, no lawn chairs, no lawn or landscaping outside. Don't expect to be BBQ'ing or enjoying the outdoors - there's no "amenities" outside the house.
However, Inside was very comfortable for 4. We brought games to play at night, or watched a little bit of TV.
Good beach access was about a mile away. You could walk or drive.
This is the perfect "home base" - a place to come back to at night and sleep. Clean, comfortable, pet friendly. We would definitely come back again.

House is small but bedrooms are nice. The kitchen had the necessities but was not well appointed. House could use some deep cleaning but I feel like this is common with short term rentals and I would rent this place again.

Went to the coast for a quick Mother’s Day weekend trip. House was clean, check in was easy. Was comfortable for a small family of 3. Location is close to waldport and you can walk under the bridge.

We enjoyed a quick getaway with our son who was home from college during Spring Break. The home was clean, cozy and just the getaway we needed. It is a little bit of a joint to the ocean itself but worth the walk.
We would definitely stay again.

The place was clean and centrally located. We were there to go crabbing. It was minutes away from the harbor in Waldport. It was a short drive to Newport.

This was a mid-point place to stay between Seattle and Crescent City, CA. We saw some sights, rested some from our cruise, and got ready for the next leg of our adventure. The home was lovely, wonderfully clean, comfy bed, just as advertised. We had a great stay and would come again. Thank you.

This property has some overdue maintenance. Floors & rugs were stained and dirty and the kitchen floor hadn't been cleaned in awile. Bare minimum supplies in the kitchen. We left 2 days early. The rental company offered to send a cleaning person but by that time, we were ready to go.

Just steps from the Alsea bay, this house was a perfect fit for our family of 4! We walked to the bridge at low tide and got to explore the base! It was so fun.

Overall the experience was great. Only thing we suggest is the carpets need cleaned. Great location and neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay here! House was bright, comfortable, and just a short few blocks to the beach. Clean, cozy place to stay with plenty of room for our family.

The house was as described online. We arrived and were able to easily check in. Great house with wonderful views of the bridge and bay. Everything was wonderful with the house except the burrs that have taken over all grassy areas. Apparently this burr is from an invasive plant that is all over the Waldport area. The burrs make it very difficult to walk the dog because they get the burr in their paws and can’t step down until they are removed. The carpeted areas of the house also had some of these burrs in them which feels like glass if you are in bare or stocking feet.

Check in was smooth and the house was clean when we arrived. The high ceilings made it seem larger. The property is not oceanfront but has a nice view of the bridge/bay and walkable to the beach. We spotted several whales and seals in the area. There is an older resort across the street but the neighborhood never felt crowded and there was no neighbor on one side of the house, which was nice. The kitchen had everything we needed although most pans had nonstick coating, which we didnt use. Overall a really nice place.

My husband, 2 kids and I loved staying at this house. It only has 2 bedrooms but the living room, dining room and kitchen are open and makes it feel bigger. Everything is really clean. My favorite part of the house were the large windows in the living room overlooking the Waldport bridge. During the day you can see seals laying on the sand under the bridge. We visited in the spring so some days were a little too cold and foggy to play at the beach with the kids. I recommend bringing some board games for entertainment.

Overall, it is nice. Lots of windows provide natural light throughout the house. Good place for quiet strolls through the neighborhood.
