We spent 2 nights here for our anniversary and had an excellent stay. The cabin was just as described and has AMAZING views! We lucked out with great weather. It was a super quick and easy drive to everywhere in Homer. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

We had an amazing time staying at the Melody Rose cabin. We did not see any wildlife while we were there, but still enjoyed the views and the piece and quiet.

We really loved our stay in this cozy cabin. It had some of the most beautiful views of the Homer Spit, Kachemak Bay, and even the glaciers. It had everything we needed for a lovely long weekend in Homer. The cabin was just minutes from downtown, but far enough up the mountain for a quiet and laid back atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again.

Cute cabin with full kitchen. Unbelievable sweeping views! Cabin is cozy and comfortable. Listing correct with stairs an issue for some. Good location in Homer - just a short drive to shops and restaurants. Owners very responsive.

Very comfortable cabin. The location offers fantastic views of Homer and is close to everything. The place worked great for what we needed (a place to stay to enjoy the fishing in Homer). Would stay here again.

This cabin is everything you hope for in such a place.

On clear days you stare at the mountains and can see the glacier from your front window. You also get views of the Homer Spit. If you love aviation, you get to see planes taking off and landing from the airport and the seaplane base.
The cabin was clean and comfortable. Really good window blinds helped when it doesn't get dark until well after midnight. Communication with the host was simple and very responsive when we had questions.
Will stay here again the next time we're in Homer.

Charming! Cozy! Clean! Comfy! This little cabin up 59 steps from the parking area with a spectacular view was just perfect for us to spend a few days. Our niece's wedding brought us to Homer; this little cabin will have us coming back often. Susan was so responsive when I forgot to write down the keycode and couldn't get in after a run. She offered her favorite restaurant suggestions to enjoy the local scene...and she was right! We will be back!

We had a delightful stay! We were blown away by the view. Watching the light change across the mountains and the water was incredible. The cabin is private, quiet, and comfortable, as well as a quick drive to town. We met so many kind locals. Wonderful hosts and great communication. We didn't want to leave and definitely want to come back!

This is an exquisite cabin on the side of the mountain overlooking the Homer spit. It felt like a tree house. So clean and beautifully decorated. We’d highly recommend staying here again.
