The property is ok, great restaurant, very good meals.

We booked a room with balcony and when we arrived, the lady owner told us there is not and that what booking is posting is not the reality and they do not have balcony rooms anymore. I asked them if booking is lying. After aprox 30 minutes they gave us a balcony room. The next morning I asked about the outdoor pool and the same old lady told me directly that the pool is for them and the staff and is available only when they do not use it. That was more than strange, as the outdoor pool was advertised even in the elevator and I have chosen the hotel because of the outdoor pool.

Breakfast was fine - some bread and meat and cheese - nothin much exciting. Pools were also fine.

Driving through the beautiful rolling hills we were hoping for the lovely stay that the site advertised, alas in the last minute we turned onto a busy road and there we found our 'boutique' hotel. After a 10 minute wait at an unmanned reception at 18.00, we got into our rooms. They smelled of anything but rolling fields. More like sweat. The hotel decoration is completely nuts, we guessed maybe a travel theme? Could have been anything from French revolution to Trump, to a speedboat and ancient skies and a giant traffic light. After waiting for 30 minutes for a beer in the garden adjecent the busy road - we chose an early dinner. No vegetarian options on the menu, the chef had promised us a courgette dish, the waiter firmly said 'Non - that was a mistake', they had no courgettes, just mushrooms. When the food turned up - the courgette side dish at our neighbours table had us in hysterical laughter at that point. When the fly that sat on my sons food died only a second later still on the fork - we sure had a very good laugh - but man this was by far the worst place we'd stayed in for a long long time. Staff was kind enough - but this is not the kind of quiet - lovely - restful - cleanish little break we were after. Or even non-stinky room sleep.
