Loved our stay at True North B&B. Deb is an excellent host - very hospitable, friendly and helpful. Her breakfasts are next level! The bed is comfortable and the room is very spacious. It is a nice quiet spot and the pool is so refreshing.
If staying on Magnetic Island Horseshoe Bay is the place to stay - beautiful beach, a number of great restaurants, access to walking tracks, a good bus service (we had our own car but the bus was quite regular). If we return to Magnetic Island we would definitely come back here.
Thanks Deb for making our Magnetic Island trip so memorable.

True North is a beautiful property. The room was spacious and had everything you could think of for a comfortable stay. The gardens surrounding the balcony and pool are stunning. Everything here is top quality, the bed, linen, towels etc. We really appreciated all these details as well as the stunning breakfast made for us by the amazing owner Deb. We didn't want to leave. Thanks Deb

Deborah was an awesome Host, made me feel so welcome & @ home in their lovely house, which was stunning by the way. My stay had everything I would have wanted, EXTRA clean - tidy - presentable. Loved the swim in really nice saltwater pool. Sooooo enjoyed the breakfast menu and it tasted gr8!! 2, especially the beautiful fresh fruit salad. My bed was oh so comfy. Also I very much appreciated a ride back thanx!! from the local pub. Had such a wonderful stay - ta again, totally recommend you come and luv the holiday feel also, that this magic place has 2 offer :-)

We loved our stay at True North. It was an absolute haven from the heat. We loved cooking dinner in the kitchen and hanging out by the pool. It’s right by the bus stop and a few minutes from Horseshoe Bay. The breakfasts were a highlight - I recommend the pears!

Great place to stay with a lovely breakfast. Good location near the beach, but a little bit away from the main street which suited us well. Everything walkable in Horseshoe Bay and very close to the bus stop which was also useful. Bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the private outdoor space provided by the balcony. Good kitchenette as well.

We stayed in a large, quiet room with a private balcony and had an excellent cooked breakfast provided each day. The property is a short walk to the beach and eateries. We highly recommend it for couples. Thank you Debbie and Larry!

Wonderful property and lovely hosts. Perfect place to spend a week relaxing and exploring magnetic island. Very comfortable bed, nice balcony area with chairs and table where you can enjoy the scrumptious breakfast Deborah serves up. We will be back. AAA

Beautiful spacious room that was in great condition with lots of nice amenities. Beautiful delicious breakfast prepared by the owner Deb, delivered to your room. A nice covered porch with our room. A selection of books is available to read. Wonderful place and a great value.

We were escaping the Wellington winter and found a warm welcome here. The choice and delivery of breakfast was exceptional. The whole place was friendly and comfortable. Really want to do it again.

Great place to stay. Having a cooked breakfast delivered to your door is definitely a highlight, especially when you had about 7 different choices and they were all excellent, healthy and filling. The building itself is an old Queenslander, timber decks and floorboards, balcony. Four different rooms, so can't get too busy or noisy. The host, Deb, was friendly and caring. The accommodation is well shaded with trees and birdlife, but the pool area could do with some more sun. The location is a short walk to Horseshoe Bay beach and it's many cafe's, resturants and a pub. There is a convenience store and access to many fascinating walks. Highly recommended for an enjoyable stay in magnificent Magnetic Island.

Deb at True North is a really good host!! Its in the service which makes a place special. She makes the best breakfast, delivered to your room on time. The room was very comfortable and with lots of space and a private balcony. The only down side was the road works happening at the front of the property at the time we stayed, it started very early for holiday'ers. We will go back to True North BnB.

The staff were super friendly, the room was a good size. And the breakfast delivered to our room on the mornings was as delicious as it was generous. Great location, a short walk to the beach and the Koala Village just next door.

Our first holiday since 2008 and first time at a B&D. Enjoy the stay and the wonderful breakfast. Will go back in the future. Highly recommended. However there are 4 rooms and only 2 car park facilities. Also could not locate the recycling bins to place the bottles and plastics in. Otherwise, truly enjoyable.

The pool was cool, the room comfortable and quiet and the breakfast was great.
A short walk to Horseshoe Bay and we also took a beautiful walk across the hill to Balding Bay.

From the very start they hosts went above and beyond, picking me (and my suitcases) up to making the MOST AMAZING breakfast according to my vegetarian diet.
They were full of knowledge on the local area and just very warm, lovely people. And whilst it was a bnb, you still had the privacy and space like a hotel - would certainly come back again.

The property is situated on in a beautiful and relaxing garden which you can enjoy right outside your window or from your balcony. The room is equipped with a great variety of cooking utensils for flexible eating options, however, the breakfast provided is excellent and recommend eating breakfast at the property instead of a cafe.

Outstanding! My stay here was exactly what I wanted. The surprise was the high quality of cooked breakfast options, which also come with fressh juice, yoghurt and fresh fruit. Rooms are spacious, with all amenities and your own enclosed balcony space. Pool at the back to cool down in. Five minute walk to beach and restaurants, etc. Although a nice little bar two doors down. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

My stay was fantastic! No complaints from me. The property is a lovely traditional Queenslander house with wooden floors and balcony's. The pool area is a little tropical paradise to relax in in the garden. Breakfast is a generous variety of a la carte menu items you choose the day before. It's a 5 minute walk to Horseshoe Bay beach and restaurants. There's a bus stop 20 metres away and the buses connect perfectly with the sealink ferry. As long as you're not expecting a 5 star hotel and you are expecting a welcoming and well looked after bed and breakfast you will be happy you chose to stay here.
