Very friendly and very helpful

The overall standard of the accommodation, owner and the facilities were excellent.

The owner made us feel very welcome and was very knowledgable regarding things to do in the area. Also made a great recommendation on where to dine.

Excellent, comfortable, clean & very friendly

you could not wish to meet nicer hosts, nothing was too much trouble and a lovely warm friendly welcome. Although the room was on the small side it had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean with a great bathroom. The host were very informative about the area and offered advice regarding dining in the area and the ferry crossing even before we went. Breakfast was really really good in fact the best we had in any of the hotels we stayed in on out trip. Would definitely stay again and recommend to people we know.

In a perfect position for exploring Dunoon and the surrounding countryside. Room was comfortable and clean and Jackie was very attentive. Breakfast was delicious and we would recommend the full Scottish breakfast and don't forget to try the homemade marmalade!

The guest house is located very conveniently, a short walk to the town centre, restaurants and bars. The room had everything needed and was very warm. The breakfast was nicely cooked and we had a table with a sea view to enjoy. Worth mentioning that the kitchenware and cutlery was of good quality (Denby) too. Very-very friendly host Jackie who made everything possible to make our stay comfortable. Thank you!

Beautiful views and Jackie's welcome made the visit

Having been let down at our original accommodation due to double booking, we happened across The Cedars and booked a four day stay and were very glad we did. Jackie telephoned me to confirm our booking and choice of room along with many recommendations for our visit. We were met by Jackie upon our arrival and found her and indeed her husband in the background very friendly and helpful. Our very large double room overlooked the promenade and was a delightful place to sit in the evening. The room and bathroom themselves were scrupulously clean as was the rest of the house. Breakfast was excellent with high quality ingredients. Overall I would highly recommend The Cedars if you are contemplating a trip to Dunoon.
