For a three-star hotel, Fama residence exceeded our expectations in many ways. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to solve an issue we had- non-functioning wifi in our room. They got us an in-room router the next morning. The breakfast was also excellent with great choices especially in fruit selection and wonderful breads, and they replenished everything very quickly. And you cannot beat the location- it is right by the Golden Gate, easy walking distance to everywhere. Even though there were constant in-flow of people and our room was facing the street, the windows did a very good job blocking street noise. All in all it was a very comfortable stay!!

The rooms aren't huge, but they are modern and well appointed. The hotel is easy to find and the staff is fabulous!

It was clean and spacious with air conditioning. Despite being on a busy street we didn’t get bothered by the noise, perhaps cause our room was on third floor.

We enjoyed our stay at the Fama Residence. Your staff was very helpful to two non Polish speaking visitors. Welcomed additions to the room would be two chairs. We would gladly come back again. Cindy and Collene

Dirty towels upon check in but, things got much better after that and the hotel staff was very courteous and took care of everything. Breakfast was very adequate and restaurant food was great!

Amazing place to stay right in Old Town, close to all the sights and the breakfast is fantastic. Can't speak more highly of the place and will definitely be returning

We were so happy to get a room in the front of the hotel. We learned that other reviewers were right; there is a lot of noise late at nght. We got used to it, and we enjoyed being able to look out over the street during the day. The staff were all incredibly helpful and even arranged our transportation back to the airport. The small rooms are small, and we wish we would have booked a larger room, but we were really only in the room to sleep. A good stay, and we would stay in the Fama again if we return.

Loved our stay here! Good breakfast, good view, close to everything and it is so cute in old town!! We were here with our 2-year old and it was perfect! Walking distance to it all. Really enjoyed our stay here! 5/5 ✨

Great location at the Golden Gate and along the Royal Route. The breakfast is worth the add-on. The room was small but you're not there to spend all day in it anyway. The staff is great and will easily help you with whatever you need.

We loved this gem of a hotel which is beside the famous Golden Gate. We were there for 5 nights. The location is excellent - handy for bus & train connections, the starting point for the walkative walking tour is just outside on the other side of the gate. In December it's also beside the main Christmas market. The main museums are also within about a 15/20 minute walk. We were on the third floor & had no issue with noise although ear buds were provided & we were there Sunday - Friday. The room was comfortable & clean. Breakfasts were very good with some nice healthy options such as fresh fruit, chia seed pots as well as hams, cheeses, salads , cereals & some hot options. There were also breads & a daily cake. A big shout out to the lovely Reception staff who helped us with directions & with buying train tickets on the app & where to buy bus tickets for going to the airport. Staff were lovely, patient & very helpful. We went on two day trips independently to Stutthof concentration camp & Malbork castle. What could be improved? Although there was daily housekeeping, a few things were missed eg a mug not washed, toilet roll not replaced. Also it wasnt an issue for us but there's no English language tv station. To me, given the great price, great location, excellent reception staff & good breakfast, this merits full marks as it's fantastic value for money.

The location of the property was perfect. The outside and reception were very inviting. Breakfast buffet was very good. The rooms (carpet) didn't appear to be very clean. Adjusting the temperature was challenging and the door to my room had to be pulled closed or it wouldn't lock. It felt like the rooms didn't quite match the updated look and feel that the lobby had.

Very pleasant stay and the hotel is perfectly located in the Old Town. Good breakfast and nice rooms.

Hotel is in excellent location on main pedestrian street, easy walk from train station. We had a lovely large room on corner of 3rd floor with views over the main street and Xmas market stalls. Comfy bed, good shower, nice sofa, very little street noise. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was outstanding with good range of hot and cold options from buffet.

This hotel has the perfect location! Walking distance to the restaurants, mall, train station and even Christmas market. The outside is detailed so beautifully and the hotel overall is clean. Like other reviews, yes there’s a lot of noise from people walking by late at night BUT that didn’t bother me. I slept like a baby. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a great variety of options. If you don’t like buffet style, they have a specific menu for dishes. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Right on the main tourist street of the town, walkable to everywhere you might want to visit. Rooms are small but totally functional for a short break.

Terrific customer service! Free coffee in the lounge. Was able to check in early and out later and got a free room upgrade and a free drink because of my gold membership at hotels.com Didn't try the breakfast but saw it when we arrived and wasn't very impressed with what I saw so we ate elsewhere. The only two minor things were that the AC was not in English so very hard to understand how it worked and the shower head was weak. But again the customer service was amazing and the location is awesome right by the main street in the old town and very close to the best shopping mall.
