Ok, there is this thing in this place - noise. They have a ⚽ fotbool table outside in the backyard and in the summer it's played until late morning. Everybody sleeping with the opened windows and there you have it. Also the backyard is great for staying late and staying loud. Espiacially for those guys with campervans, they love it and use it accordingly :)))) even when the house is fully booked and there should be dead silence after 12. So grab your earplugs, put a shade on your eyes and try to sleep if you can! :))))

Great location! You don't feel like you're in the city, cause you're surrounded by trees; but once you step outside - you are in the city center. Really nice style and design of the room, cool common areas. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and well maintained.

It is a hostel, so you can expect a lot of noise from the inside and outside. But everyone was quite respectful about the rule of being silent after 11pm.

Location is great. The outdoor bar and the overall atmosphere is cosy.

Noise from the backyard bar in the evening. It was hard to sleep with an open window, so we closed it even though then it was a little hot in the room.

Downtown Forest is a great little place, conveniently located close to (or in) the hipster Uzupis area. While I was there, there were daily concerts and it had a great festival vibe. It's a fun and relaxed place! Pro-tip: ignore the 45 euro airport transfer that's being offered and get the Bolt-app on your phone before you arrive so you can get a cheap Bolt-taxi to Downtown Forest. I paid 8.90 euro to get there from the airposrt.

My bed was rock hard (couldn't sleep on my side) and the toilets/showers are as clean as the person who used it before you. In addition, one of the nights was extremely noisy. A group of people at the campsite were laughing and chatting until 3am, right underneath my window. There's no staff to ask them to quiet down (they go home at night). Of course I could have gone there myself, but wasn't into that in the middle of the night ;-).

A cozy hotel in a lovely area, the staff was really nice and let us check in 2hrs earlier!

The walls were made of paper and I could hear absolutely everything happening on the floor. Loud guests coming back at 1am, people using the showers, even other guests snoring in their rooms - as if all of it happened right in my ears. Didn’t get a good sleep because of this. :(

In fact, in the middle of the city you feel like you are in the forest or the countryside. There is a bus stop right next door (well, at the gate). Lots of space in the common areas, also a room big enough for 8 beds. The beds do not creak and I did not feel that the neighbor climbed in to lie down. I really liked those birch trunk decorations. The yard is lit up with lights and there are parties, the bar is open, music is playing, but it does not interfere with relaxation when you are inside.

Showers have such a slight bad smell. And a little privacy.

Best hostel I’ve ever been to - rooms felt very homely and they responded to my request to be allocated a bottom bunk. Free tea and coffee available, free luggage storage. Nice personal touches from staff, rooms and bathrooms were clean. About 15 min walk to main old town.

Food and drinks prices are a bit more expensive than in supermarkets
