The property was well located and an oasis in a crazy busy city. Closet to khan markets and Lodi Gardens. The gardens are beautiful and the pool is fantastic. The room was big with a big bathroom. They have family dogs and cat which are very well mannered and funny to watch, as they have their own stories going on. The family who own and run the business are beautiful, so welcoming, approachable and friendly. I paid for the dinners which were lovely, veggies come from their garden, the food was fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend this property, it’s home away from home without compromising on ammenities.

Not much, probably the thing that annoyed me was the staff throwing stones at the monkeys! This is cruel and unnecessary, a better way could be sourced!! Violence against nature is not the answer, never the answer!

the garden is very well maintained

We had a lovely stay at Lutyen’s. It is located in a lovely part of the city. Beautiful Lodhi Gardens is within walking distance and definitely worth the visit. Taxi and tuktuk drivers know the location and it is easy to catch a ride simply by stepping outside the gates. The grounds are private with gorgeous gardens and a pool which was welcomed after a day of wandering around on a hot day. Food is homemade and delicious and the people are very friendly. Communal meals are served outside in the garden. A great way to meet other travellers, many of whom return to Lutyen’s when in Delhi. We had a late flight out and were able to stay onsite, have a swim and freshen up before leaving early evening. The rooms are basic but clean and the shower worked well. If they ask you whether you want a soft or hard bed be sure to answer. The hard bed is extremely hard. They did add a topper for us though. Will definitely return if I return.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a brilliant pool!!! The place was so so pretty and we loved it!

We felt very comfortable staying at Lutyens. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. The setting is amazing …an oasis for escaping thr huge metropolis that is Delhi! Home grown food was a bonus as well.

I think the food could have been served at a hotter temperature.

I always hesitate before sending my Lutyens Bungalow review because its status as a 'well-kept secret' is ever-more eroded! To my taste, this is simply an absolute gem of a place; a true oasis of calm in a beautiful and convenient corner of New Delhi. The beauty of the gardens, the joy of an evening swim with only the bats for company, and most of all, the kindness of the hosts is truly special.

I didn't like not being able to share this with my family! Next time, maybe ...

The welcome by Shukla & her staff was awesome. The ambiance at breakfast and the loving grounds full of greenery was very welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place as it feels like grandma’s home.

Could have done with slightly bigger rooms but that’s part of the charm.

The whole space is really nice with a beautiful garden, an oasis in the middle of Delhi. This is the second time I stayed there and I would always come back. It is a quiet place very close to Lodhi Garden and two metro stations about 10 min walking distance away, so you can easily explore the city by public transport. All staff is really nice and friendly and the whole place has a family atmosphere. Breakfast is served in the garden - you can have tea, coffee, fruits, yoghurt, cereals, omelette, bread... meals are always freshly cooked and often are made with the vegetables that grow in the garden. The rooms are basic but comfortable, there is air condition and heating, and you have fresh water, a water heater, tea and instant coffee in the room. But you can also always go to the main building and get free coffee/tea, and refreshments for a fair price.

The grounds are a beautiful oasis in the middle of Delhi. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had a really big problem rating this hotel, since the experience was good, though the place is a bit of a rip-off, which I will explain below.If the price was a third, even half, I would have given it 10. To provide you with some comparison, last year I stayed at the Imperial, in Delhi, one of the best hotels in the world, and I paid just double what this Bangalow charges

As we travel, the most important thing we seek in accommodation is value for money. This place represents the opposite. I've been coming to Delhi for 43 years now and I know what I should get for a price. Unfortunately, the room was more like a 25-dollar hotel, not a 100-dollar establishment. The room was old, and musty with almost zero natural sunlight—the furniture was more for decoration than any use. The breakfast hardly had any selection to it, and again did not reflect the price of the establishment. The swimming pool although functional does not look like the photoshopped picture on the website.

lovely, quiet location but also central and very close to Lodi gardens. Set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings with a nice swimming pool. But the real charm are the hosts who make every effort to make one feel at home. Communal dinners are served on the terrace so a great place to meet and converse with other travellers. A real Gem of a place.
