Magnifique endroit pour passer un bon moment, Paula une excellente hôte au petit soin. Tout était parfait. Petit déjeuner avec des produits fait maison. À refaire

The room was amazing, with a balcony and a great view of the river, and it was super modern and clean.
The breakfast was also great, in a large area overlooking the river, and a great sitting place to have the morning coffee. The staff was also super friendly and kind, making us feel welcome there.
Overall a great place to book some quiet days in Gerês.

The view is simply fabulous and breathtaking, facilities are new&clean, hosts are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fine, quite various. The pool is also good.
There was no door in the bathroom which made our stay less comfortable. Also as that was not reallyreflected at the pictures we did not expect anything like that.

Stunning scenery. Friendly staff. Great wine. Perfect pool space - we spent most of our time relaxing there. Comfortable rooms with A/C and views. Close to outdoor activities like hikes and rivers. Highly recommend.
Our room had a bathroom that was somewhat open concept, and my partner and I would have preferred a door to separate the bathroom from the rest of the room. Not a con of the place but be aware you will need to have a car to get to restaurants and other attractions nearby.

Very nice Quinta with good service! The airco of the room we booked was giving a smell and we are presented to move to another room. View of the room on the river was magnificent! Nice breakfast.
Take care of the steep path to go up and down to the house by car. To go to restaurant you need car.

The views are absolutely incredible and the dining area takes full advantage of the panorama. So beautiful! Absolutely peaceful setting, lovely comfortable rooms, and warm, friendly hosts.

The location was simply spectacular. The views from our room were million dollar vistas! The hostess was lovely; she was always available to answer our questions and guide us during our stay.

The rooms have big glass doors right in front of the bed so you fall asleep and wake up to a magnificent view of the lake.
The breakfasts always had freshly made pastries and delicious crumpets.

This place is truly astonishing and I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was fantastic and the hosts were extremely helpful and obliging. The rooms are great with fantastic views, the bed was comfortable and had lovely linen sheets. The views are exceptional and the place is absolutely tranquil.
Nothing and I shall be returning again.

No bathroom door, could have been more private. The view was stunning but the white walls could use just a little art.

Fantastic little hotel with incredible view from the room&balcony. The hosts made us feel very welcome, the breakfast was great even though we were pretty much the only guests at the time. The location and the entire premises really are spectacular. I will definitely be back at some point. Highly recommended.

Quinta de Calvelos is part of the amazing Douro experience. You can fall asleep and wake up looking at the Douro River and valley. It's a great place just to relax by the pool and enjoy the nature and view.
The staff is amazing and very helpfull.
We would love to go back!

The location is magical, the view on the lake us stunning. You are surrounded by fruit trees and a small vinyard belonging to the property. Quite heavenly!
