Good location, ten minute walk directly to the town centre, or twenty mins, along the harbour front (depending on your pace). Quiet location, clean, very helpful staff, good value for money, good facilities - small pool, garden, gym (although never saw anyone in that) cafe area, lounge / reading area, bar - individual apartments with minimal but sufficient appliances / utensils for a short stay in Mahon.

This apartment complex has seen better days and does need an upgrade. It seems as though parts of the complex have been upgraded but there is more to do. The fixtures and fittings are worn and some need replacing. The Wi-Fi was patchy. Our apartment had an internal bathroom with no window, or extractor or even tiles around the bath / shower. As such it was a bit damp. The bath took quite a time to drain and there was an odour. There was a pretty little garden that had been thoughtfully planted up but no one was keeping the weeds down, which seemed a shame. There was good quality garden furniture but again, no one keeping that clean. Having said all the above, it was clean and good value. It wouldn’t be my first choice to stay here again but, neither would I discount it.

Extremely helpful staff. Great location. Very nice sized apartment. Comfortable bed and sofa. Well equipped. Large balcony.

Kitchen a little bit shabby. Cooker and microwave a bit scratched, stained, but that was only cosmetic. Cupboards needed some refurb. Could use a new clothes drying stand and some pegs. Some more English language films, programs on both TVs would be nice for when it's raining!

Easy parking, and less than 10 mins walk to centre. Nice pool, though needs to be open later than 7pm imho.

There is no AC in the bedroom. This wasn't a huge issue in late Oct but worth noting for hotter months.

For the first couple of days we were there the pool was cleaned regularly. The apartment was cleaned every day. The area around the pool was cleaned depending on lifeguard.

Pool didn’t open until 10am which was a bit disappointing as weather was very warm. You were unable to bring any extras into the pool like a football, inflatable rings etc. Location is a good 25 minute walk to bus station and a good 15 min walk to the port, whereby a booking each night for a dinner reservation was needed. Also the bar closed early and there was no facilities like table tennis/ pool table.

The staff were lovely - very friendly and helpful.

The apartment was a good size with a nice balcony but it could do with an update.

Royale apartments are very good value,in a great position for the harbour, shop , town centre,there's always something going on mahon,also the breakfast is definitely worth going down for in the morning

Very good location, which we looked for: 7 mins by walk from city centre, near seaport. Lovely personal: administrator pointed us, till the enter to building was very polite and positive, as other people we met at apartamentos. When we found our heating doesn't work, administrator quickly brought to us other heating device as a replacement. We had very nice apartment with green zone just around the window. Apartments size is very good for 2 or even 3 persons. Good breakfast with large food selection. Good value for it's price.

Like described above we had problem with heating device at the wall, bit we got an replacement, and as it was not very cold, it was enough.

Excellent location, 5 minutes walk to the diving centre and marina. The apartment was clean, and the view was very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Free parking around the hotel. Pool was not open yet, but the facilities look great.

The kitchen could have been better equipped for 3 persons. We would have also appreciated more toiletries.

The apartment was spacious but rather used. We stayed there for 4 nights, which was just enough. Longer stay wouldn't be comfortable. The bathroom, especially the shower really needs an update.

The location was amazing. Nice equal distance between town and the harbour. Nice quiet area. Staff were friendly and helpful, explaining Covid changes to us and assisted with all of that. The complex was very clean and tidy, no rubbish in sight. Shame the pool was closed during our trip but all other facilities were great. Parking spaces available for the hire car. The room was really nice. Beds were super comfy and the bedding was was lovely, soft and warm. Plenty of spare blankets, perfect for drinking a wine on the balcony under. Shower was hot and powerful and I liked that shower gel was provided. Would highly recommend the apartment and location if going out of season.

Would have liked the bar to be open a bit later but that did mean we ventured in to town and bit more which showed us more of Mahón.

Communication with the hotel was easy and very good. Csilla was very nice and helpful gave excellent instructions. Location is perfect for easy access to town and restaurants in the port.

Being outdated is one thing and really a minor issue, compared to the place not being clean. When you re-think your breakfast after you have seen the toaster and the shelves .... there is a problem. Curtains had stains from years.... A pitty as the apartment could be a very nice one.

Nicely located not too far from "downtown" Mahón and a very short walk from the boardwalk/harbor. Rooms are sparse, but spacious. The balcony would have had a great view if it hadn't been raining. Staff were extremely kind and communicative, especially when we thought we'd get in later than we actually did.

The 8:30 breakfast didn't really start until 9:15. Our room was missing towels when we first arrived. There is a kitchenette, but no coffee provided in the room. I have no idea where the picture in the Booking.com page was taken; I saw nothing like that courtyard while we were there.
