Gave me a room that smelled like a smoking room.

Carpet in hallways were ripped up and reeked of a must that made it seem like the floor was flooded at some point. Rooms were outdated and clean other than smell.

We stayed for few days and were very happy with room , service and wonderful breakfast options . Hotel is close to QEW but kind of far from Lakeshore, still walkable. Will definitely stay agan

My stay at the hotel was enjoyable. However at breakfast time it was busy so cutlery &crockery was always a problem.One downfall for the room was the curtains didnt pull.This was a problem on the bottom floor.The breakfast was beautiful plenty of choice and the indoor swimming pool was very convenient during our stay.

The rooms need a good all around cleaning. Stains on everything

The room was very nice; spacious and well-equipped. The TV seemed to be analog only, not HD, which surprised me. The breakfast choices were good but the area seems small for the size of the hotel. The configuration made things very congested so I just took a muffin and a coffee back to my room.

Overall a good hotel however, it is showing its age.

Room was pretty big and spacious . Very quiet locality . Along with free breakfast , we got free snack in the evening too . Thought that was amazing . Will definitely recommend for anyone planning to stay here .

Television did not work, silverfish in the room, and tables at breakfast were dirty.

The properties were a little rundown, but the people working there were exceptionally nice.

The room was nice, not fancy but comfortable. The kitchen was useful, could have used sugar packets for the coffee/tea. We are a family of 4 adults, so we requested a rollaway to add to the pullout sofa with no problem. The room was fairly quiet, except when the AC kicked in. We had to turn it down, no big deal. We expected the TV to be high def but it wasn't. The varierty of free channels was good, however. We enjoyed the free breakfast,.lots to choose from and it was all enjoyable. Didn't make it to the pool as it was being seviced. The staff were friendly and helpful with a smile always. Downside- not much in the way of nearby restaurants except for the high end burger place next door at the Holiday Inn. You have to drive to go out to eat. Too bad there wasn't a restaurant and bar in the hotel. The so called family theatre was just a large screen tv in a built in bookcase with books and dvds but no couch or chairs to sit on and watch movies, just a large conference room table and chairs to sit at. It was a nice stay, good enough for 2 nights while our floors were being refinished.

I checked in late at 1:30 AM, with family, room peovided has strong smoking smell. Couldn't sleep all nights. Exposed my famiky to 2nd hand smoke all night. At 7 am, AC broke. Room temp reached 80 degree, we calles for help, guy came did something to AC unit and left. Did not help any. We had to open the door to circulate air to breath. Terrible experience. I adked front desk for money back.

Our suite was like an apartment. But without a car, your options are rather limited. The social hour only limited choice. On the whole, we were very happy to be able to wash our clothes. The gym is also good and there is an indoor pool.

Very dirty rooms. There’s a conference room next door and they had music playing ALL day. The staff weren’t even helpful when we brought it up. They don’t bother cleaning everyday. Super outdated.

Bathroom was dirty. Bed sheets were stained.

This place needs urgent renovation and it needs to upgrade it rooms furniture! Cleanliness is horrible, when we checked in trash bin was full and bathroom had a terrible smell, only one person at the desk and she was headless chicken! Pull out sofa mattresses is almost 100 years ago and need a replacement!!! Carpets are very old and disgusting! Breakfast menu very limited and no room service with no body around to get help if needed

Amazing hotel the rooms are very nice and clean and the kids had their own bathroom and bedroom, that in itself was amazing and the price was very reasonable.

Suite was very comfortable and liked the layout, buffet breakfast was plentiful, and receptions were good, all staff we came in contact with were extremely pleasant, convenient location to highways and area restaurants and shopping, nice outdoor sitting area but view of power plant from our window was not very attractive, very quiet at night, liked the library option of take a book/leave a book. Noticed no ice machines but a staff member at the desk was quick to get us a bag of ice from the kitchen when we asked. One particular woman in the breakfast room was so sweet and helpful and always smiling and greeted us each morning. Bathtub in our suite (411) needs to be refurbished - large uninviting stain, missing spots of porcelain (?), black parts in corner grout (looks like mold) but doesn't come off (I tried). Toilet seats seemed exceptional low to the ground. A patch of carpeting in the hallway on the 4th floor near our room was torn and the patch ripped (did report to the front desk) and I almost tripped and other sections just beyond the elevator were stretched and bunched up - dangerous.

Really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Breakfast was included in the cost of stay and there were breakfast options for most (omnivore/vegetarian/vegan). The location was close enough to a variety of shopping and dining and close enough to Niagara Falls and Toronto for our needs. Amenities included a pool, business room, exercise room, little store, and laundry room, to name a few. Our room included a pull out sofa, kitchenette, small fridge, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, tv, blow dryer, iron and board. Housekeeping and kitchen staff were friendly. The grounds were clean and when the main parking lot was full, there was plenty of parking available across the street. Overall, we'd stay at Staybridge Suites Oakville (IHG Hotel) again.

We stayed at room 503 and we couldn’t sleep from the AC noise, and the sofa was terrible and very uncomfortable you might only find one beside the garbage

The hotel is conveniently located near both the highway and the Bronte Go station. It was a very nice room, and a fantastic option for travelling with our kids to not only have a suite, but to not have to share a bathroom since there were two ensuites. The visit was quite enjoyable and made travelling the region easier. They also accommodated us easily when we added a night due to a poor experience elsewhere. I would absolutely book here again, and look forward to the area's continued improvements after construction.

Staybridge is usually one of favorite hotel chains to stay out, however this location is very dated and looking rough. Staff were great but overall it was not a great stay. - Carpet in hallways was super loose and a tripping hazard. - Couches in room had multiple stains and should have been tossed several years ago. - Several stains on the carpet in the room - Rust and mold in the bathtub. Moldy grout. - TV remotes didn't work well. - Beds were fairly comfortable though. I know all hotels have a useful life period before they remodel, this one is well past that though.

Big room and confortable beds

All staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, the rooms and bathroom were outdated and just old. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, causing back pain for both of us. cleanliness was ok, not too great and not bad.

The only thing is the pool wasnt working and they were a few car break ins, which i read about before we even booked the hotel.
