The hotel was beautiful, and the staff were exceptional. Accommodations were very clean. The front office people were always willing to help With any situation. Food at Vivian’s was Superb

The Bristol Hotel was absolutely adequate. However, it sells itself (and charges) at a level of luxury that fails to live up to. The hotel does a great job communicating before, immediately after check in, and after your stay. However, the experience with the actual staff leaves you feeling disappointed. The check in process lacks any warmth or welcome. The room was adequate, but no nicer than a mid level chain hotel would provide. Various finishes in the room showed wear, and the wiring for the fan and the lighting seemed to not work as in order to use the fan, you had to have an overhead light on. When I inquired at the front desk, the clerk said they had no clue, that they had only worked there a week. The rooftop bar provide a great atmosphere, but again, the staff seemed all wish they were elsewhere and gave no quarter making the experience unique.

The rooftop

This is a great, highly rated hotel but the services are limited. There is no room service. If you order food from the restaurant you get to eat it out of styrofoam boxes and plastic utensils. Hard to eat the steak or chops. Parking is poor as well. I would not want my family having to park across the road a half block away from hotel. I just do not think it is safe, especially at night and with the homeless people in the area.
I like the hotel but there are better options in Bristol.

We love this hotel for all reasons. Dog friendly and people friendly, it's a frequent stop for us each time we travel. Viviennes restaurant is yummy.

Very nice clean hotel. Check in was disappointing, as they were busy and our room was not ready so we took a different room on another floor. Overall, very nice and convenient to walking around town!

The staff are so friendly and helpful and the room was clean and luxurious. They placed a food/water bowl and a pet bed for my babies. We will definitely stay at the Bristol Hotel again. The only improvement needed is better lighting over the bathroom sink and a mirror on the inside of the bathroom door. I struggled to do my makeup and when styling my hair I couldn’t see the back of my head. I couldn’t tell if it was okay or looked horrendous. Other than that it was a fabulous stay. The bed was very comfortable which was one of the main things I was looking for as I have spine disease. I highly recommend the Bristol Hotel.

I can't say anything bad about the Bristol Hotel, nor can I say enough good about it. Rooms and bathrooms clean and well-maintained. Bed comfy. Staff courteous and extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent location for activities in the central district (restaurants, shows, etc.). Would stay there again!
