Small but pretty well appointed.

This is a special place to stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape from the city…this is the vacation cabin for you. We stayed two nights in this quiet cabin. Cooking and staring out into the forest in the back yard through the floor to ceiling windows. Great Wi-Fi, Large TV, Professionally cleaned, Strong Shower, and all the cooking utensils you will need. There’s a couple grocery stores in town to get some supplies. Multiple beaches near by to get your ocean views. Don’t miss out on this place. We highly recommend it.

Great location, barking seals can be heard. Some Hwy noise...but location is a great plus. House nice and comfy. Kitchen could use knobs on drawers-cabinets...hard to open. Little more housekeeping, cobwebs, sweeping decks, but Redwood trees always messy, but very minor. Clarify door closing directions. Must hold Schlage bottom and turn knob at the same time to lock the door. New listing ? Winter time might be cold in the unit ?....electric heaters. Certainly enjoyed my time here. Your staff was great on checking in with me during our stay via text, nice to see this. John

We absolutely loved our stay here. The only problem we had was that is was extremely cold when we arrived. There is no central heating, only two space heaters and a small floor heater in the upstairs bedroom. The heaters eventually warned up the place after about 10 hours. I called Vacasa and they were responsive and offered to bring out an additional space heater. Other than that, we loved the amazing windows, the convenient location, and the small fenced in yard. We definitely want to come back!

My stay at Cosmic Cabin was unforgettable! I've been to many vacation rentals around the world and this house and location was absolutely a dream come true. The house has a comfy, clean, modern, light tree house vibe and is just up the hill (walking distance) from Anchor Bay Beach. When you walk in the front door your eyes are immediately drawn to the floor to ceiling windows looking out to the forest, it was majestic and serine. The kitchen, dining room and living room all look out to that incredible view and there are 2 sliders leading out to the deck. The kitchen is fully stocked with nice quality cookware, utensils and everything you need to make incredible meaIs. I had planned not to cook much but the deck and views beckoned me to chill and enjoy the natural surroundings. It was nice to have coffee in the morning and walk around the yard listening to the birds and looking up at the Redwoods. The bedroom looks out into the tree tops and the bed and linens are so comfortable I ended up spending 1/2 the day just reading in bed. If you don't know much about Anchor Bay Beach I highly recommend checking it out. The cove on the northern end of the beach is spectacular and was an easy spot to take out my paddle board. The town of Anchor Bay has a cute market, Thai Restaurant and a cafe. I had cell service and good internet too which was nice. The owners created a retreat and put thought into all the details to make their guest have a memorable vacation. Even a great collection of interesting books. I'm already planning my next trip back to Cosmic Cabin!

My stay at Cosmic Cabin was unforgettable! I've been to many vacation rentals around the world and this house and location was absolutely a dream come true. The house has a comfy, clean, modern, light tree house vibe and is just up the hill (walking distance) from Anchor Bay Beach.
