The entire exterior of the house is covered in spider webs and wasp nests. We had to walk through so many just to get in the house. The pictures of the back yard must be very old because that yard doesnt exist anymore. If you are looking for a spot to fish this isnt it. The deck is old and unsteady. We ended up spending all of our time inside because outside was terrible.

The home was not as it was advertised, outside was dirty and covered in spider webs the decks were in terrible shape and about to fall down, yard was grown up with no access to the lake, the inside was not that clean and the internet did not work as well as the tv, we texted, called and emailed the host with no response. We left a day early because we were not enjoying our stay. We should get some kind or reimbursement for what we paid to stay there.

The impression from the outside of the house is quite bad. It desperately needs some cleaning as the house is covered in spiderwebs and tree debris. This includes right outside the front door. The lack of cleanliness was also evident on the inside as we spent the first hour of our stay cleaning spiderwebs from the rafters and corners of the rooms. The deck outside also needs some work as there are loose railings and holes in the deck which a foot could easily slip through. The rooms and bathrooms were nice and outside of the dirty state of the home, the stay was nice.

Nice little getaway for the family. Didnt have much kitchen ware but we made do.

The check in was inaccurate. The directions tell you a key pad is on the shed outside, its not. There is a padlock. The water was off, we had to wait for someone to come, which was a few hours. The coffee pot had old coffee that was molded, spider webs throughout the inside and outside. Lady bugs in all of the rooms, dirty coffee cups inside the dishwasher. To add insult to injury the host would not answer my calls, she wsnted to text only. Even after I texted we were cold because the thermostat did not work. Im so upset because my mom passed and this was supposed to be relaxing and it wasn't. Very very very very hurt and disappointed

We loved the location and had a great time. We would love to come back

This will be a lovely home when it is finished…however, during our stay, it became comical how many things went wrong. First off, during our drive in, it became very apparent that this might not be a safe place to stay with kids. There are several very run down trailers and loose dogs (mostly pit bulls) as you drive to the house. A list of things that didn’t work are as follows: dishwasher, heater, master & guest bath sink, hot water, several light switches including no lights whatsoever functioning in laundry room, duct tape over other light switches throughout house, guest bath door doesn’t latch, all the dishes and silverware was dirty (had to hand wash prior to use without hot water), NONE of the outlets worked in the master bath, and the list goes on. I have never ever given a review like this, but I wish I had known these things so I could find a different place. The on-site hostess was incredibly kind, but couldn’t get ahold of the owner during our stay. We didn’t want to waste precious family time moving locations so we essentially “camped” at this property. Hope they can pull it together in the future. It’s a lovely home inside. And very pretty view of the lake.
