Great house! Lovely setting. Down a steep hill in the car. You can walk into Hebden on a nice route or to Hardcastle crags

No kitchen supplies provided so make sure you bring your own essentials including milk, tea, etc

The cottage is absolutely gorgeous in a stunning location. You would never get bored of looking at the view, even when raining the mist rising from the forest opposite the cottage was very atmospheric. The kitchen was well equipped and.we soon felt completely relaxed and at home. The patio and garden have lots of space for the chidren to play and for.dogs (we have two border collies) to run around. You can walk from the doorstep down to the river and then along the riverbank into.Hebden Bridge - this is a.very pleasant 20.minute walk and we found the route on google maps. The town has all the shops.and bars you would need and lots are dog friendly.

Only a very small.niggle was the double mattress in the back bedroon could do with replacing not due to cleanliness but for comfort. The roads in the area are not the best for nervous drivers. The gardens are not completely secure for dogs, not a.problem for us but if your dog.has a tendency to.run off then it could be. The experience could further be enhanced with a couple of.comfy garden chairs as the furniture there.is fine to.sit out for a while but not that comfy. I could have sat there for hours in a recliner sun chair.

Brilliant property, everything you could need for a long relaxing weekend! Housed our party of 8 more than comfortably, and the pre-arrival directions / advice were spot on! Hepden Bridge has some great local pubs (about 20 mins walk away) and the scenery from the garden is just wonderful!

Dog owners, please be aware that the garden appears secure, but next doors' property is easily accessible, and has free-range chickens on his land...our inquisitive spaniel ruffled a few feathers trying to make friends with them!

The cottage was beautiful. High quality throughout. Instructions prior to arrival were very good and the hosts were so helpful. We had a lovely time so comfortable. Great weekend away. Thank you would definitely go back.

Nothing really. You just need to take care when finding the cottage for the first time. Drive slowly especially if it is dark. So you don't miss the turning.
