Like everything, lodges had everything you need, very well equipped, good layout, hot tub maintained twice a day and always hot, one disappointment was the fishing, feel the ponds need restocking or maybe im just useless as we could see large carp, all in all very nice site and would definitely return one day.

The Lodge was a lovely place to stay for the family and loved the peace and quiet.
I normally go somewhere different each year but after staying here I would definitely return.
After long days out with the family there was nothing better than relaxing in the hot tub with the family all together.

The setting is absolutely beautiful and the family are very lovely and nothing is too much trouble.

The Lodge was perfect in every way! The surroundings were amazing with so much to see. The hot tub was the perfect end to every evening. It was so quiet and peaceful with so much wildlife to see.

Beautiful surroundings, peaceful,for the children the fishing was great it just took them off there screens for 4 days they were so relaxed and chilled,the hot tub was amazing loved by all ,staff were very nice and helpful,the lodge was amazing equipped with everything that you needed

The log cabin was amazing, very traditional with everything you needed. A lovely touch was the freshly baked loaf of bread, and the chocolate cake wrapped in paper tied with string, along with the honey, jam and marmalade. The hot tub on the terrace was the perfect finishing touch and we spent lots of time relaxing in it. It was a total getaway from it all, perfect way to be at one with nature, the walks around the lakes were so tranquil, and peaceful. Just whats needed to totally unwind.

Lovely location, well kept grounds, friendly staff. Very nice to receive a welcome pack . Lots of information sent before arrival helped us plan the weekend. We had perfect weather so the hot tub was very welcome.

The lodge was lovely, well equipped, clean and a good size. Overlooking the lake with well positioned bird feeders made the ideal place to sit and soak up the peacefulness. The owners have been very thoughtful when creating this holiday haven and are always approachable and helpful. The holiday was a total switch off from life’s hectic pace, already looking forward to our return.

A very nice well-presented lodge that had everything we could have possibly needed in terms of facilities. The site itself is a very nice and peaceful place to visit, and the owners are very friendly and accomodating people. They provided us with a baby-bath on request for no charge.

The cabin is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The surroundings are great with lovely walks etc. The hot tub is amazing a thoroughly relaxing break with the family.

The lodges are amazing, a home away from home. Nothing is too much for the owners.

I love that there is limited WiFi and cell service it means completely forgetting the world around you and just relaxing, listening to nature, viewing the night sky and just escaping. It's great that is a home away from home too which means no washing to do on the return, still have home cooked meals and do everything you would do normally. Staff are always friendly and polite and a great bunch to chat to

This is probably our 10th stay here at Gold Oak Farm and always have a great time. The Lodges are lovely and clean and has everything you need. Very peaceful and relaxing place. The owners are very friendly, helpful and always make you feel welcome. The hot tub is amazing!! We’ll definitely be going back :)

The kingfisher lodge was perfect for a relaxing break for Father's Day. Lovely location and the lodge was beautiful. It was in the perfect location for local attractions, bit the grounds were just beautiful if you didn't fancy venturing out.

Stayed here several times and never disappoints. Great lodges and hot tub is superb. Lovely little welcome pack on arrival and cake is always yummy. Wish there were more 3 bedroom lodges as great to spend with family. Overall a fantastic location and very friendly staff and a great place to get away and relax . Will definitely be back

We stayed in the Dorchester lodge, which was very nice and spacious, and had everything you needed in it, the decking had a lovely hot tub and was fully secure for our 2 small dogs who could amble about on it. The grounds were very beautiful with all of the lakes, very peaceful and relaxing

The staff could not have been more friendly, and could not have done more for us - no request was ever too much, they are amazing. The cleanliness of the log cabin was above expectations. The environment was absolutely beautiful (frozen lakes, greenery and a variety of birds too!) The small touches such as jam and marmalade, fresh loaf of bread and fresh cake was so thoughtful. It was like a home from home! we will definitely be booking to stay again!
