We've been coming to the lake for the past 30 summers. Over the years, our family has grown, our children have married and have had own children. Now we are a group of 16 with 7 children under the age of 9. This year, we rented Hastings on Hickory and the Hickory Cottage right next door. What a great week. Both houses met our needs beautifully. We had a quiet house and a loud house. A solitary house and a group house. The flexibility to move back and forth as the needs changed made the week so enjoyable. Hastings on Hickory is a beautiful house, with incredible master suites upstairs and down. There are lovely sitting areas both up and down. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The outside patio is beautiful and has a fantastic view of the large cove. It was a real treat to be able to dock our boat under the covered boathouse. I would 100% recommend this house and would happily return.

We loved this rental for our extended family, with plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms, a great living room area, large kitchen and a wonderful location on the lake. Situated in an amazing cove, we were able to tube & teach kids how to wakeboard without having to go into the main channel. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to vacation in an upscale, comfortable house!

We love this lake home, so much we are reserved for next year already!

We had a magnificent stay!! What a view - we saw birds, fish, a blue heron, and a FULL rainbow, all from the upstairs windows. Everything was clean, gorgeous, top notch. Wish I could’ve stayed much longer. Books, movies, puzzles available all over the home!

Great property for Thanksgiving with friends and family.

The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a gorgeous view of the lake. The dock was perfect for the small children to fish from. I would highly recommend this home.

We were very happy with this rental property. The house was beautiful and the rooms were perfect for our big family. The kitchen layout was awesome and fully stocked. The sofas were beat but we didn’t sit much. We loved the lake. The dock is old but did the job for our multiple boats. Overall we had an amazing time.
