Dreamcatcher Cliffs Home (even the name is perfect!) is centrally located a short distance from the town of Kanab, trails and several national parks. When we arrived, we were blown away by the size (3 bedrooms located at the back), a covered patio with doors from both the kitchen and master bedroom, a front porch and an area with a fire pit. The views were spectacular. The full kitchen has everything you need to cook or bake. There are items previous visitors left behind such as a half used bottle of maple syrup, plastic straws, open oil and vinegar. We left a chord of wood because it rained the last evening we would have used it. The home is very clean and family friendly. There is a notebook with info about nearby trails, eateries, maps, etc, but there wasn’t a notepad or pen to write with. I suppose in these electronic times I’m old fashioned. I still need to hand write lists so I left a pen behind for the next visitors if they are like me. Bring a notepad. My family and I agree that the beds were the most comfortable ones we have ever slept on. My granddaughter loved the living room recliner chair. The master bathroom is large with a walk in closet and a handicapped accessible shower. The second bathroom has a tub. The screen door to the patio from the kitchen was a little sticky and screeched when opened. Here’s a tip to open the kitchen door when going back inside from the patio- pull the handle up. When pushed down, the door doesn’t open. A few times, we thought we had locked ourselves out. The door from the home into the garage didn’t close and could not be locked. The automatic garage doors worked fine so we felt safe with that door shut. We informed the manager so hopefully that door will be repaired for the next visitor. I can’t rave enough about how pleased we all were with our stay at Dreamcatcher Cliffs home. We hope to return in the future.

We loved our stay here. The house was cool and comfortable and we had everything we needed to feel at home while enjoying Southern UT and Northern AZ. We will definitely be staying here again next time.

The home is a good place to rest in between hikes and sightseeing. It was only about 35 min drive to Zion National Park. Kitchen w/ all the essentials! Nice layout of home, lovely backyard w/ grill and gorgeous views of the mountains. We walked around in the neighborhood and it is quite lovely. Kids were comfortable in their rooms too. Master bedroom was very spacious. The host is quick and responsive also!

This property was perfect for hiking! It's very close to National Parks as well as local trails. The house was spacious and had the most outfitted kitchen. It was very close to town as well.

Dreamcatcher Cliffs was a nice house to stay in during our trip in early February. The space was good for the two of us, with more than enough room. The primary bedroom was spacious and there was plenty of storage for our things in the walk-in closet and dresser. There was also nice storage in the other two rooms, although we did not use them. It is really great to have a garage to park in, though if we were both leaving the house at the same time one of us had to hit the garage door button and then exit through the front door. Not a huge issue. The location is nice with the house set back in a subdivision off of 89, but still very close to town and about 7 minutes from Best Friends (the reason for our visit). We were able to have an overnight dog each night and they enjoyed the yard and the space in the house as well (it was cold so we played fetch in the large living room instead of outside). The kitchen was nicely stocked with all the pans, dishes (including mixing bowls and nice storage containers for leftovers) and utensils that we needed. It was also nice having two tvs (one in the living room and one in one of the guest bedrooms) so we could watch things separately if we wanted. The outdoor space is not huge, but is nice with a lovely view of the mountains and the stars at night. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a nice launch point for the area parks and/or Best Friends.

Stay was Dec28-Jan2 2023Pros: •Big pantry with random helpful food/spice items•Ziploc bags, tin foil, & paper plates provided for our use. So nice!•Newer gas range and microwave. •Filtered water by sink•Huge living room•Huge Primary bedroom/bathroom•Plenty of towels and bedding that smelled clean•Nice outdoor space •2 nice swivel, rocker-recliners; 1 in living area, 1 in Primary bedroom. •Hair dryer, straightener, extra disposable razors, magnifying mirror, and facial moisturizer were available in bathroom. •Bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in a dispenser attached to wall in showers. •Felt like there was a water softener or at least didn’t feel like very hard water.•Front load washer and dryer with laundry soap in a laundry room. •Counter and sink in laundry room served to be helpful with 8 people and 2 bathrooms. Cons:•Garage door was broken. Could lift manually but after a day just parked outside.•Bbq grill wasn’t cleaned after last use. •Sauna didn’t get very hot from what I was told by son. •City trash can was overflowing when we arrived. •No Kleenex/facial tissues. •Needed a bbq grill turner not just tongs. Neutral:•No ice cream scoop•Dishwasher is older and didn’t clean great.•Almost every door wasn’t plumb so they don’t stay open. Door stoppers were available for use. •Not a huge amount of hot water for 8 people but was decent. Got cold a couple times when showering back to back and/or simultaneously. (We’re spoiled with a tankless heater.)•Electric fireplace in Primary bdrm had a remote that didn’t work but turned on manually. It looked lovely but didn’t heat up the room as much as it heated up the wall it’s attached to. :)•Green sofa in Primary bedroom was dirty looking but we didn’t use it. •No window covering in bathrooms. Neighbors are far enough away it was fine. Overall we enjoyed our stay and especially if the garage door works we would stay here again. Honestly I would give 4.5 stars but I like to round up.

The house looked nice from the outside. The home had plenty of space, comfortable seating, comfortable beds, and clean towels. There was lots of information available about the local area. That's where the good ended. Outdoor areas were unkempt and dirty. Dirty, as in used and put away unwashed, dishes and cooking utensils. Kitchen sink not very clean. Bathroom shower not clean.I highly recommend the Kanab area, as it is beautiful, with lots to see and do, and several good restaurants.I do not recommend this property!
