It is a self check-in hotel which you will get a link for unlock the doors, so make sure you mobile phone has enough battery (hotel has free wifi), luckily a friendly host stays there from 0800 to 2000 Very good location where inside the Bern old town, shops and supermarkets are just next to it, also close to the train station, dont miss the rooftop view!! Bad thing is the shower water is not hot enough even turned to the highest temperature, and there are some bars/pubs nearby, quite noisy on the weekend's midnight

Have a kitchen at the common area with free coffee and tea which you can relax before check in. Keyless entry is easy to operate.

We absolutely loved this hotel! It is very practical, modern, convenient, well located.

High room on top floor had angled ceiling cutting into usable space significantly. Air conditioning did not work. Shared space was nice and had kitchen utensils and fridge.

This is was a great place to state for few days for my wife and I. The staff was super friendly and the room was perfect. I love the concept of this hotel. Definitely would come back.

Had a quick 2 day stay as a family of 4. The common areas and games room were a hit! A lot of restaurants nearby and very lively in the evenings. Train station is a short walk away. Roma were a good size for Europe. The shower is in the room, as opposed to a separate bathroom, so that was interesting. Also, the shower head was broken. Other than that, check in and check out were easy and would definitely recommend. One more pro, there is a washer and dryer which we were able to use.

Stay Kooook was exactly as advertised. Pros: -The hotel was right in the middle of the town with plenty of great restaraunts -Check-in was very simply using your mobile device. Using the phone to unlock the different doors was very nice and ensured safety in an already safe area. -They even had ice in the common area fridge. Most of the places we visited did not have ice but Stay Kooook had it ready for our beverages. Cons: The shower was cool but a little transparent and my daughter had to look the other way while I showered. Or you can shower in the dark 😀.

Good stay. Easy login via their app. Ensure you download it and have WiFi access. The host is available during the day. Luggage storage and free laundry available. Complimentary tea, coffee, milk, fruit, cookies. Game room and lovely terrace. Only issue was the bathroom light gave visibility into the bathroom. It got a little noisy in the evening but it stopped around 10pm.

Great self service city centre hotel with self check in via digital RFID keys to your phone. Room was spacious, well ventilated and came with all necessary essentials. Yea, coffee and entertainment areas within the common zones (no TV or kettle in your room) Room was exceptionally clean and towels and linen smelt fresh. Room was quirky and even came supplied with its own crossbow (maybe a Bern thing?) Shower was powerful and enclosed inside a very unique mirrored shower unit. Toilet was separate which would be great for couples or duo-travellers. Common room had freshly ground coffee and you were able to help yourself as required. Didn’t encounter any hotel staff while visiting but the premise is it’s all self service and experienced no problems checking in, finding my room or checking out. Would highly recommend as a great hotel for a solo traveller wanting to take in Bern or as a stop gap between other areas of Suisse.

We arrived to the hotel at 22:30, so I was glad we were able to use the online checkin. Everything went very smoothly with entering the building, the entrance to our hall, and our room. The WC, shower, and sink area were all separate, which made it possible for different people in the family to do different things at once. I would consider staying at another Koooonk hotel if available.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I especially liked the communal space, a great added bonus. A good location in the old town and close to the train station. Yes, I would recommend and stay there again.

Great central location, easy to find and nice to have coffee and tea provided. The shared common room is a good idea but in reality, it was crowded and hectic. A breakfast buffet would be better.

Our favourite hostel we've stayed at in Switzerland. The room was a little small however, the use of space was great. A great shower, decorations, a good atmosphere, stress free self check in, comfortable bed and sweet staff really made our experience a 10/10. The train station is a short 12 minute walk aswell as some attrations and shops being located close by. The common room offers enough space to work and chill. Free coffee with different milk options. Would highly recommend and stay at again our next visit in the beautiful Bern.

The room was alright. There was not a kettle in the room so it would be nice if the kitchen had a kettle for guests to use. Check-in and check out was pretty straight forward and location was close to the train station. There are several supermarkets nearby.

A bit overpriced.

Unique concept. Felt like I was saying at home. A large common area, seating and kitchen is very kids friendly. On-site washing machine is a bonus. Rooms could use some storage. The bed was too small.

Good Hotel!!

This is a quirky and surprising hotel, with an original approach to breakfast by providing a home-like kitchen space in which you can prepare your own breakfast, with hot drinks provided free of charge. The public lounges spaces are very cosy and well suited to reading and getting a bit of work done. A simple but spectacular roof terrace, beautiful traditional circular stair well and great central location in old Berne are additional positive features. The room was small and eccentric, but impeccably fitted out and spotless, wsith a very comfortable bed.

Wonderful, modern, and technologically reliant hotel in the center of Bern. Everything is within walking distance, friendly and helpful hosts. Great hotel and will definitely stay there again if we find ourselves in Bern.

We stay for 8 nights, the place is very clean, near to train station and restaurant. Everything was wonderful. I would highly recommended. We will definitely return here. Thank you Silvia & Marc
