Such a charming and welcoming home with an amazing backyard. The attention to detail was amazing and left you wanting for nothing. Communication with owners was great! They were very accomodating and so helpful. Lots of fun and great memories created celebrating a special birthday.

From check in to check out it was the best experience. The house is super clean, with everything you could possibly need on vacation. The back yard is amazing with all of the fruit trees. It was so nice at the end of the day to swim in the crystal clear pool. I did meet the host they were very friendly and polite. If I'm back in the area again, this is where I would want to stay.

The cottage was wonderfully decorated, the beds comfortable and the grounds fantastic. We had a fun time sitting around the pool in the sun while our dinner cooked on the outside grill. When the rainy weather drove us inside, the huge tv and cozy family room was great. Ginger and Joe were terrific hosts that were so quick to respond to any communications. They gave great directions to get to the cottage. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Even found a Leatherby's Ice Cream shop just down the street which my husband loved!!!!

This place is amazing. Loved our stay. In town to give my daughter a baby shower and this place was perfect. Wish it had been warm enough to enjoy the pool. The backyard is huge and beautiful. The beds were very comfy.

We had a very nice stay in this hidden cottage. Huge swimming pool and garden to chill out and close to lot of amenities. Hosts have taken lot of care in ensuring all amenities are available. Would love to come back

This property has everything and more! The house was spotless, had everything we could’ve asked for and more for our family and our baby. From baby toys and a pack n play to the swing and pool toys- this house has it all! 10/10 recommend staying here if you have a family and/or have a baby/child— the stay was great!

We had such a great time at this house! Ginger was very accommodating and kind and answered any needs or questions we had right away! We have two kids and there was plenty of toys for them to play with as well as games and other activities. We’ve never stayed at a more stocked vrbo and it was so convenient because we had other family visit us there and we were able to make dinner and spend the day at the house. The house is also across from a really lovely park that we went to and the kids really enjoyed. The house was very spacious for our family and the jacuzzi was nice and hot. Really great experience!

Dad wanted to take the train and to spend a weekend with "just his kids" away from spouses, grandkids, jobs, pets, etc. We came from CA, WA, & UT, and Dad suggested the Sacramento area. The cottage was perfect for the 4 of us. When we first pulled up we were afraid of not having much privacy as the front house seemed closer than the photos show, but we walked in the front door and all worry washed away. There was plenty of space in the house, which felt like a Bottery Barn catalog it was so beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The back yard is huge and we spent lots of time playing games on the patio, and in the family room. We also enjoyed using the fire pit on our last night as the evenings were nice and cool. Joe and Ginger were quick to respond to any messages and being in the front house came quickly to help with any problems. There were not many negatives and none of them were enough to drop stars from my review. We had trouble with the hot tub not functioning properly, but got to use it without jets and Joe did his best to trouble shoot (pump was sucking air and malfunctioning). We found a couple repairs in the house needing like a leaking shower nozzle, but nothing that kept us from having fun and may be fixed by the time the next tennants come, as we alerted the owners. If I am in the area again I would love to come back.

Beautiful place to stay with a fantastic pool and hot tub. Ginger and Joe have thought of every little detail. The home is pin clean and fully equipped for all of your needs and comforts. Family friendly! We will definiteky return.

Ginger and Joe are the nicest people. We stayed for 6 nights and it was perfect. There's literally everything you need in the house to cook. Spices are well stocked, the knives actually are sharp and we had every pot or pan you could imagine. The pool is huge and all yours when you stay there. I have not one complaint about our stay. We have already booked our next trip. Absolutely the best, cleanest, rental we have booked. Close to everything but when you're at the house you feel far away. It's very private and quiet. We have been booking a vacation for the last 20 years, twice a year, and this is the best. I'd give 10 stars if I could! Thanks Ginger and Joe!

This property is in a wonderful location and is very beautiful. We all loved our stay and the hosts were very kind and helpful.

House was as described and as shown in the photos. It was very relaxing and enjoyable, and had great books if you are a reader. It’s in a super accessible location and that was great for us. We needed to be out and about each day driving to other parts of the northeastern Sacramento County area. Overall, we were very happy with this home which was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen.

I cannot say enough about this VRBO. This place has every amenity. It also had a fully stocked kitchen so we were able to save of take out. Even the parking was a dream! The pool was amazing, the house is a place we will definitely stay again. Ginger, one of the owners, was so kind and helpful. Her husband was also friendly and helpful. Attention was given to anything we needed. If you have a chance to stay here, take it!

We travelled to Folsom for a short trip to enjoy some of the local museums and activities before school started again. The pool was wonderful after the hot summer days and the house is beautiful. Our 6 and 2 year old were so excited when they discovered the toys, games, and kids books. We all had an amazing stay and would love to stay again next time we are in Folsom.

We had such a relaxing stay at this beautiful home. The home was spotless, and Ginger and Joe were so helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The pool is great, our little grandson loved the baby swing, and we loved checking out the garden plants. Great location, great home, great hosts, and a great stay!

Duma is my grandma name from my oldest grandson. We have family in the area so thought it would be fun to let them come to “Duma’s house” and swim, eat, sleep over and just have fun. Turned out to be perfect. The house is beautiful and well equipped. My gourmet cooks had everything needed to cook for my birthday. And the pool! It was a big hit with all of us. It truly felt like home. Thanks to our fabulous hosts.

We enjoyed our stay in Sacramento. Ginger (property owner) stayed in touch with us to make sure our stay was satisfying. She addressed any concerns or questions we had in a timely fashion. We plan to visit again when traveling to or near Sacramento.

We had a fabulous time at Citrus Heights! My friend and I brought our 10 and 12 years old boys for an awesome visit. We went and visited Gold Country and Quarry Park by day and hung out at the pool at night. It was just what we all needed. My only complaint is that they don't have other openings that fit my schedule, because I'd love to bring my husband and daughter back with us for a family vacation.

This house was perfect for our family of 5 (kids aged 3, 8, 15). We enjoyed the toys, games and PIANO!! Everything we needed was available- and while the house is off a busy street- due to the location on the property you don’t hear any noise. It’s really wonderful. Best of all-the linens!! There are really nice sheets on all of the beds. And the towels for the bathrooms are so fluffy and luxurious. More like a luxury hotel. We all agreed that we would stay here again. Even the ornery 15 year old.

The property and house are beautiful, we all had an amazing time there. If I ever have the need to spend some time in Citrus heights, I will definitely try to book this place. Ginger & Joe were quick with the responses to all of our emails and just down right pleasant.

Hosts are NOT ordinary hosts - they strive to make you feel welcome and comfortable throughout your stay and will bend over backward to assist in any way they can to achieve this. I am really glad I stayed with Ginger and Joe and I will definitely be revisiting. =)

The home is beautiful and very welcoming as soon as you pull up to the property. The owners have thought of everything in the home. We were able to enjoy the park like backyard every day we were there, it truly is an oasis in the city. The owners are truly amazing. Very respectful of privacy but alway available when we needed them. Highly recommended property.

This rental is amazing. We had such a great time while we stayed here. The house is beautiful, very clean ,smelled great and all the little touches make it feel very homey and relaxing. The yard is huge and beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The owners were great!! Anything we needed they were right there to help out. They went up and beyond to make sure our time there was great and it was. My only complaint and suggestion would be that it says that it has 3 beds 2 queens and a king, but it only has 1king and 1 queen bed. The other bed is a queen air mattress. Just something to keep in mind. Other then that this house is definitely worth renting and would definitely do it again. 😁.
