We attended a family wedding at the Brule River Wedding Barn, and this was the perfect place to relax and spend time with family. We had a nice fire outside, walked to the beach to relax. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at this house by the lake. We enjoyed having access to the beach of Lake Superior, and it was great to be able to have a nice view of the lake from the front windows when we relaxed inside. We also enjoyed having our coffee on the back porch. The house was sparkling clean, and there was plenty of relaxing spaces for our group of four to hang out and chat inside and outside the house. The hosts were friendly and communicative. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

First time in a long time we did not need a vacation from our vacation. The kids spend hours and hours rock hunting and playing on the beach. It was quiet and peacful. The house was clean and even had a basket full of things you may have forgotten. Host was extremely responsive and helpful as well!

Property interior (and exterior) is clearly well-managed, clean, and modern. The house is stocked with more than enough blankets, bedding, kitchen stuff, and games. Our group of 5 stayed comfortably. Three caveats for interested renters: - The only shower is in the master bedroom - No closets or storage space at all - Beach access is across a very quiet county road and was covered with driftwood

Perfect location, loved the fires on the beach watching the sunset. Everything was super clean and inviting, would definitely return!!

Just stayed for the weekend after some Birkie spectating on Friday, so it was all about the chill. And this place was great for that. It's a good winter stay (especially with the wood sauna), but with the beach, the location and the equipment provided, I'll need to go back for a summer visit soon.

It was centrally located for outdoor adventures and day trips. We hiked Twin Falls and Lost Creek Falls. Close enough to do a full day excursion to Bayfield & Madeline Island. The fall colors were spectacular, for sure another week of color left. Wonderful accommodations with all the amenities. Sauna was a big hit for our group after a long day of hiking.

Four old college friends used the house to attend the Apple Festival. The place was very clean and comfortable. The well water smells bad, but I think that is true to most homes in this area. They provided plenty of drinking water. It rained a lot and was cold. Happy to say the sauna worked great!

Nice access to lake across the road & a beautiful place to watch sunsets. Room for all family to stretch out, nice firepit out front & deck with grill off well- equipped kitchen. Surprise extras for smores & great contact with hosts!

The cabin had everything; from a fully stocked kitchen (even condiments in the fridge) to a basket of items you might have forgotten (toothbrush, deodorant etc). The sauna was amazing! The private beach was a new adventure each day! Quiet, beautiful, relaxing and the sunsets on the beach were spectacular! Communication with owner was prompt and very helpful! We definitely recommend a stay here!

Very spacious, recently updated house with great laundry facilities and a private location. Cross the road and there’s a private entry to your own beach and creek front area, with deck chairs. Incredibly peaceful place to watch the sunset over Lake Superior. Great communication from the owner. One thing to note: the beach does change size, so it can be fairly skinny at times. But, it is quiet and sandy. When we were there during the high season, we were the only people on the beach. Highly recommend.
