We loved the house so much. Plenty of room to gather together and also share our own spaces. Clean and cozy elements. Every need satisfied.

I reserved this house about 6 weeks before Thanksgiving. The house itself was fine--we enjoyed the pool table & darts & its location was great relative to where my St. Louis family lives. The kitchen & baths updated & nice. Furniture throughout house pretty sparse. The big issue was that I kept getting computer generated requests for information (including uploading my drivers license; never been asked that before). This is a company, not an individual person that you deal with. I must have gotten over 25 emails from them prior to arrival. It was very annoying & disconcerting. I was finally able to talk to a manager who helped with getting early check-in.

We were a group of 6 so the 4 bedrooms, three bathrooms and larger kitchen were ideal. There’s a few restaurants, CVS, bowling, mini golf, etc. within walking distance. Lots of available street parking. Upon entry, we noticed one of the bed frames was broken, and the pool table was missing 3 balls, including the 8 ball, so subsequently we didn’t play pool. It was one of the main reasons we booked this place, so that was a little disappointing. There were a few hiccups, but the property manager was pretty responsive (power went out in one bedroom and they sent a maintenance person there same day, the front door lock code didn’t work after 24 hrs and we had to request a new code). The living room was on the smaller side with a 3 seat couch. We couldn’t get the propane fireplace to light on the patio, but we still enjoyed that outdoor space. The list of items for guests to do upon check-out is lengthy, although manageable. When Ubering to and from the property, sometimes it pins your pickup location to the backstreet/backside of the property, so you have to message the drivers to ensure they’re coming down the McPherson dead-end street. All in all, it was a nice space for what we needed.

8 of us had a great stay. Plenty of room and fun amenities with pool table, dart board and deck/fire pit. Perfect for visiting my son who attends Wash U. Highly recommend the location. My only complaint was my fault for not reading the fine print. I don’t have much experience w VRBO. Couldn’t check in until 5pm which is later than typical hotels and check out time was 10am with no opportunity for later check out and no place to store bags so hotel stay is more convenient from that stand point.

We were down from Chicago for a family members wake and funeral for 2 days. My wife, our 3 adult kids and our 4 yo granddaughter. The house was just as advertised. Very clean, well stocked, comfortable beds and plenty of quality soap, shampoo and conditioner in the showers. Huge well stocked kitchen, great back and fire pit which we used one night. The house is very large and accommodated all of us very well. Communication with the host was excellent and while they ran a background check (something I haven't experienced in my many VRBO rentals but I appreciated it and took it as a concerned host who cares about their home. The only downside is that while the pool table in the living is nice we missed a room where the 5 adults and toddler could all hang out together in comfort. But that was a minor glitch. Would definitely stay here again!

The Morrissey House provided six folks the perfect place to stay as we traveled to to and from our family reunion site in U City. The house is huge, comfortable and lovely. Our VRBO host incredibly responsive. This family highly recommends!

Large property with 4 bedrooms was perfect for our weekend getaway with several couples. Had fun with the pool table and dart board. The large kitchen was well stocked and was perfect for cooking in a little bit. Convenient location close to Forest Park was a bonus.

The home was beautiful. The amenities were excellent and the home met all of our needs. The community was safe.
