The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable and modern. The only thing is that there is no coffee maker in the room, which doesn't seem like a big deal but was definitely missed while I was there for a week.

Great Blue Heron rooms are spacious and clean, with nice large bathrooms with a deep tub. The only downside is the lighting is soft and moody, not enough light to read in bed. They had LED lights that might of helped with this problem but ours didn’t work on either side of the bed. There is a food room on the main floor just past the elevators where they offer free coffee and tea in the morning as there is no coffee maker in the rooms. The beds are comfortable. The staff are very friendly and pleasant to deal with. The eatery and restaurant (in the casino right beside the hotel) food was good and the staff were very friendly and personable

A little out-of-the-way... but the drive out from more populated areas is worth it. The landscape is beautiful with rural charm, which likely will not last long given the rate of urban sprawl in Southern ON. Hotel is modern... in the middle of the woods. Staff is very friendly and cooperative.

Spent a night here in an accessible room. Quiet, reasonably priced. Checkin was smooth and friendly.

Right next to the casino. Restaurant served good breakfast at reasonable prices.

Awesome place

The bedroom was very nice and clean. I loved the colorful Indigenous Artwork displayed outside. My family and I were very pleased that the staff was able to provide early check -ins for our rooms as we were attending a wedding that very same day. The staff was super helpful and gave suggestions as well.

The mattress for our second time in a row was not suitable for someone with back problems to sleep on. I am very unhappy as we have stayed here more then a few times.l had back surgery in the last year so we booked an accessible room.We complained both times and before checking in we let the desk know.

Staff was friendly but a bit unprofessional on check in. On check out asked for a slightly later checkout and was told that we could have ‘a few extra minutes because the hotel was full that night’. First, having worked in the industry, not how housekeeping works, not every room starts getting cleaned at checkout time. Second, don’t appreciate being flat out lied to— there were over a dozen rooms available on Expedia to book. Fine, we left at 11:15, but the customer service experience was appalling

Our stay was comfortable, quiet and well designed room. We were happy with our stay.

It was close to Port Perry so after a bit of shopping in the cute town and dinner headed to hotel. It was new, clean, quiet and short walk to casino.

Good and clean

Housekeeping information and coupon information was not disclosed on checking in. Destination Casino and Hotel so meals somewhat expensive. Only complementary Coffee offered, no breakfast ( basic in casino $40+ for two). Pre-pay rooms so no casino coupons honoured. More than 2 days stay you have to tell when you want you room serviced. Had to ask for clean towels etc

Loved the hotel. It was very clean. Could have used a microwave in the room. Front desk staff were very friendly.

The room was exchanged to a more appropriate one to accommodate disability . This was an effortless change pleasantly done and at no extra cost. Polite and considerate staff. Would highly recommend.

Bed was super soft and there’s no pool for the kids to play

It was nice to have the hotel and casino located in same area for convenience. In our room the floor lamp had a lamp that did not work, no shade etc...it was rather tacky. The carpets needed to be cleaned. They hotel should have coffee makers in their rooms for morning coffee.

Beautiful place to stay

It was clean, front desk had reservation and room type available. We left a Tidy Room Request on the door but no action.

The hotel is priced right.

Very clean. Lots of children there due to a tournament nearby and you could hear everything in the halls at a very early hour. Not hotel fault however it seemed noisier than normal.

This is our 3rd time here, and we love staying here :) amazing staff and great rooms :)
