This property had a very nice layout and plenty of spaces for everyone to spread out. We had a few glitches with the pool heater, but Kathie and Tina were responsive and did their best to get things working. The view was beautiful and it felt peaceful and relaxing. The neighborhood was really quiet and the location was perfect. We enjoyed playing ping-pong and sitting by the firepit. The pool was a nice size for our family.
CONS: There is a dock but no kayaks or boats. There are no outlets in the master bathroom and the bed in the master is extremely high, but comfortable. The lighting in the living room is not great but could be easily improved with working lamps. It was a little pricey, but worth it.

Our stay at Waterside retreat was better than we could have ever anticipated. The pictures of this house do not do it justice. The location is perfect the size of the house is perfect the cleanliness is perfect, and the ease to get to the pier for seniors ( is the best we have ever had). We have already booked for next year and can not wait. To the owner I would like to say thank

This was a perfect home for our family group. Everyone had an “adult bed” - no bunks! Having a separate entrance to the pool via an alarmed slider gave us peace of mind since we were traveling with our mother suffering from Alzheimer’s. Great feature for family with kids as well.
We never tired of the view of the canal and enjoyed spying dolphins and manatees. Even though there are neighbors on both sides of the house the layout and fences provided lots of privacy.

Enjoyed a nice long weekend for some concerts in Tampa. Location worked for us as we also wanted to visit Sarasota. Enjoyed time chilling on the dock and in the pool.

House was beautifully done with all amenities. Super clean home. Comfortable furniture and beds. Enjoyed sitting outside and watching the manatees swim by.

What a beautiful home to spend a relaxing week in. We sat by and swam in the pool. We enjoyed the beautiful canal view and even Manatees came to visit, which delighted our granddaughter.
The home was so well equipped with anything you could want. The kitchen was very modern, the furniture extremely comfortable!
We will be back next year for sure!
