Nice and clean apartment. Third floor walk up. Close location to Monarch Beach Hotel, Salt Creek Beach and the Ritz.

The apartment is very well equipped and lovely decorated. You‘ll feel very comfortable right when you enter. The balcony is great too and the location is super quiet. Pool/beach towels are provided and we were happy to use the beach supplies, such as chairs, umbrellas and cart. We would come and stay again any time.

Beautiful condo that was well maintained and extremely clean. Very spacious for four adults with luxury feel. Condo is located next to upscale neighborhood and monarch golf club and close to ritz Carlton which made for enjoyable and scenic walks. Loved our stay.

The property is in a quiet neighborhood but close to all the attractions of Dana Point. We especially enjoyed the path to Salt Creek. The condo is very nice with everything we needed to be comfortable. We had a great time!

The location was excellent. The neighbohood was quiet. The unit had everything we could possiy need, and there were detailed instructions on nearly everything. The beds were comfortable with great sheets and towels throughout. This is a great base for all of your SoCal adventurers. And the price was less than a hotel (and I work for Marriott).

We live in Palm Springs, so a trip to the beach is wonderful. Our July 2021 visit to Dana Pointe couldn't have been better, and this easy, breezy home in Ritz Pointe in Monarch Hills was perfect. Maybe you'll need a bit more than your tooth brush, but the flat had everything else would would want . Comfortable, exceptionally clean, quiet ( great for sleeping) and those glorious breezes and a sun bathing on the spacious balcony. Ideal. Close to everything, We highly recommend for your next trip to Dana Pointe.

My assistant and I stayed 5 nights for a horse show. It was a work trip but we very much appreciated how quiet and convenient the location is. The master bedroom mattress was incredibly comfortable and I’m super picky! I have a bad back and slept perfectly every night. Cable was a great bonus as well. The condo has everything you need to cook a nice meal and is super close to the lovely ocean view jacuzzi. Will definitely book again.

Amazing property! Loved the extra details of things to do in the area. Very clean and comfortable. Our only issue was with the property Manger who did not send the code to get in. After trying to get ahold of her the owner called us personally and took care of us. She was amazing!

Wonderful property with easy access to all the beaches and sights from LA to San Diego. Quiet neighborhood that was a joy to come home to after a long day exploring the coast. The unit was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our only complaint was the Dodgers lost. We will be back when we visit our son again.

The place was just as described and was a perfect place to homeschool and vacation for the week. Easy walk to the beach, great pool/spa and the place was very clean and comfortable. The dedicating was very inviting and the little touches were much appreciated - soaps, shampoo, beach towels, kitchen supplies, etc. We had a wonderful stay abs can’t wait to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this condo over the Christmas holiday break. The condo is better than the pictures - clean, spacious, fully stocked and recently renovated. We were a party of 3 but we had plenty of room throughout our 5 day stay. The condo is located in a beautiful, quiet, gated community with a walking trail along the golf course to the beach. It was perfect. The property manager was easy to contact and even let us check in a little early. We really enjoyed our stay and this condo was perfect in so many ways. We will be back for sure.

The condo was beautiful, it was fresh and clean and updated. Dana Point is a beautiful town in Orange County. We were in town to visit family in San Diego, Huntington Beach, mission Viejo and LA. We also wanted to fit a trip to Disney in there, the location was amazing we were right between all of our family no location was too far. The walk to the beach was stunning! There are beautiful views the entire walk down there which is about a 20min walk. The pool was beautiful and heated! The condo came equipped with everything that you could need while being on vacation at the beach! There were beach towels, beach chairs, a beach cart, beach toys, two beach umbrellas and a big cooler bag. There is a washer and dryer right in the condo! I truly can not say enough great things about the rental and Dana Point! I wish I was still at the condo now writing this review from the deck watching the humming birds fly around!

I spent 25 nights with my wife and a 4 year old grandson. The unit, being on the top floor, has a highest ceiling and more than sufficient sunlight. Everything I need has been prepared. The unit was clean enough at the time of check-in. The furniture was well equipped as much as I could enjoy my stay. TV sets were too well supplied, one each in bed rooms and another in the living room. If I'm asked to name one defect out of this apartment, I would say, "It is too good." Thanks for allowing me to have a wonderful vacation.

This was our time using VRBO and AnnMarie made it all very easy for us. My wife, two sons (25 and 20), and I really enjoyed this spacious condo and its close proximity to several beaches. The washer, dryer, and kitchen appliances were so convenient. Thank you for allowing us to extend our stay. We would love to stay here again. This was our first time renting a condo and will never stay in a hotel again if we can help it. The condo was great. Plenty of room to spread out. Our teenage daughter loved having her own room and bathroom. Beautiful walk to the beach (some people might not like the hill you have to walk up on the way back, but we did not mind it). Give it a try, it really is nice. Condo was a short drive to Laguna, Newport, and Huntington beaches. Great location. We highly recommend you give this place a try. We will definitely be back. We were first time VRBO users, so we didn't know what to expect. However our experience with both VRBO and this property was amazing. Not only did we get a better price than most hotels in the area, we had a true home for our week in SoCal. We saved money that we would have spent at restaurants by cooking our own meals. Ann Marie has thought of all of the little details in this condo, from the toiletries, to the aloe vera gel (for sunburn) to the beach cart, umbrella and cooler. The walk to the beach is closer to 20 minutes than the 15 advertised, but nevertheless it is so close and a beautiful walk. I can't say enough positive things about our stay. The location is great (we had to make regular trips to Anaheim), the place is nicely furnished and well kept, and it's in a great location with nature walks, the beach, grocery stores etc. all nearby. Ann Marie even helped us with a package we had to ship ahead of time and delivered it. The fact that this is on the top floor made our breakfasts and dinners on the patio even more enjoyable. I only offered two minor suggestions: 1) a knife sharpener and 2) the stove/micro times don't chime (but I noticed a brand new kitchen timer in the drawer...Ann Marie thinks of EVERYTHING!). The fact that the property has a hot tub (priority for me), a fitness center (priority for my wife) and a pool (priority for my son) was an added bonus. The gate staff were so polite and accommodating too. If we ever come back to the area, we know where we'll be staying. Thanks Ann Marie and VRBO

My family was so excited with our rental. Checking in could not have been easier. Condo was clean, updated, and had all the essentials plus more. We were familiar with the area but if you are not there is all the information you will need to enjoy Dana Point and the surrounding area. Great access to the beach as well as chairs, towels, cooler and carryall were also available. It is on the third floor but the steps did not bother us. Would definitely stay here again! Great little store just on the corner of Camino Del Avion and Niguel road is the Monarch Market. Stay here and enjoy SoCal!

I stayed at this beautiful and peaceful condo for 5 days when I needed a “get away” from a stressful situation (cleaning out my deceased mother’s home). I literally booked it the day before arrival and found the manager, AnnMarie, wonderful to work with. She made the process very simple and even had flowers and a sympathy card waiting for me when I arrived. She then checked in with me periodically by email to make sure all was going well. Her kindness was much appreciated. The condo itself was perfect for me. It is well appointed, clean, and has nice outdoor space. It is on the 3rd floor so receives much more light than the lower condos. The location is very convenient for visiting nearby beaches, parks, and other attractions. The spa area with a view of the ocean is also spectacular and peaceful. All in all, I could not have selected a better location for some peace and quiet. Just a note about parking: guest parking spots are the unmarked spots without a carport. Check-in directions you receive indicate that there is no assigned space for the condo. I took this too literally, thinking there were no assigned spaces at all (although I should have known better as some have numbers) and accidently parked in someone’s spot.

This was a great condo for our whole family. We flew in to LAX because it was cheaper and arrived at the Monarch Hills condominium complex in just over an hour. My wife and I were traveling with our three children ages 6, 6 (twins) & 9. It was so easy to unpack our luggage in the oversized walk-in closets. The kids had one in their room as well. It did not feel like they were walking on all their clothes. We used the beach cart in the condo and loaded up the beach chairs and cooler (also included) for the ½-1 mile hike down to the water. It took us 20 minutes. It was mid-April so the beaches were not crowded and we could have easily parked and made the short walk down the hill at the Salt Creek Beach Park right near the Ritz Carlton. The beach cart made it super easy to travel through the “hobbit hole” and down the public access way through the golf course and under the PC Highway by way of a tunnel. There were two convenient ways to access the condo and shopping for food at Ralphs was the way to go. The kids watched our Netflix account on the TV and we could even play music on our iPod with the Bluetooth powered sound bar and subwoofer. The layout of the place was much better than our previous VRBO in the way that we thought we could get away from the kids with balcony or separate dining area. There was a nice propane BBQ grill and an automatic ice maker. That was key from a guy’s perspective. Maybe we would go out more often but with three small kids it was fun to just hang out and have dinner on the balcony after they were fed. Only reason there are 4s listed is due to condo repaving of the parking lot when we were there, which caused confusion on where to park due to significantly limited the spots available. But that surely doesn't happen often.

Apartment was very clean, even the grill! The apartment was nicely and tastefully furnished. The condos are very quiet and the community patio has a nice view. We enjoyed the beautiful 20 minute walk to the beach through the golf course and on a bike trail. We appreciated having the beach towels, chairs, umbrella and cart. We originally planned to spend more time at Disneyland, but the beach was so nice, we just wanted to stay here.
