The location of the propertynis perfect, the cleanliness of the inside of the house is great, it has new A/C units the house has everything you might need but there are a few things to improve: the living room sofe beds do not work, the pool needs cleaning water was a little suspicious, and the jacuzzi water does not heat up, the lawn need maintenance. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there.

We loved the setting at Acorn Hill. This feels like the Hill Country. The pool and hot tub were ideal for summer days and nights. The house is a log cabin with tons of space. We enjoyed being close to Gruene and the Guadalupe Horseshoe. The property manager was very attentive without being intrusive. We will definitely stay here again.

The location along the hwy was loud. I am from the country so what bothered me, may not bother everyone. The biggest disappointment was the fact that we had plans to sit by the pool and swim Saturday but the pool was 90+ degrees!!! I read that it is a heated pool for certain seasons...summer is not the season to be heated. Our whole day's plans had to change. We had picked that rental because of the pool. Will probably find a different location unless pool is fixed next time. In addition, when renting a place like this, we come from many different locations. This particular spot is only allocated 3 parking spots for 14 people. That made for very interesting parking. Would only recommend if I know the pool is fixed.
