We loved our stay at Cora Cottage. Everything was so beautifully decorated and clean. My husband and I appreciated all the small touches that welcomed us during our stay. We will definitely be coming back

The lake views were beautiful and so nice that it was pet friendly. It was very clean and the decor was top notch. The little extras from the owners were a lovely touch. If you bring pets, be aware there is only a spiral staircase to the lower level and the green space is steeply graded. My pet could not navigate the stairs inside so we had to use the outside stairs which do not have lights for nighttime.

Home is exactly as listed and pictures are accurate for a peaceful getaway. Great view and quiet. Very clean, comfy bed. Owner was kind enough to mail back an item I had left behind.

Everything was great from the moment we booked the house. Had great communication with the owner house was beautiful and very clean. There was a beautiful view of the lake. There was plenty of room for the family couldn’t have asked for more. She even had snacks for the dog and the kids turned out great but highly recommend again and for friends and family. We would definitely rent this house again, hands-down.

Property was lovely with wonderful lake view! We stayed during early spring and was chilly but enjoyed the views and recharging! Would like to return in warmer weather!

Beautifully appointed with everything you’d need (except a hair dryer if you use one but that’s normal). What a wonderfully peaceful place to stay…I enjoyed a quiet cup of coffee on the upstairs deck with the sun keeping me warm on a seasonal December day. My husband and 12 year old enjoyed a few games of darts the night before-lots of board games too, to keep you entertained during the off lake season. Comfortable beds and lots of attention to detail-it was like staying with family (but only if your family is not around and not annoying like mine :)

The lake house was beautifully decorated and smelled like Christmas walking through the door. Everything was clean & had anything you needed for a weekend stay. It was so comfy & cozy that I booked another day! Will rent again!!

This updated Fox Lake property has a lot to offer, with multiple spots for families to relax. The host put a lot of thought into individual spaces and unexpectedly supplied some goodies that made the place feel even more special.

Place was clean and super cute with beautiful view. Right on the water so we took advantage of the dock and brought our inflatable paddle board and kayak and had a great time. Renting jet skis is close by as well! One note: for anyone that has trouble with stairs, there is a skinny spiral staircase to reach the lower level.

It was a beautiful house just like advertised beautiful view. We loved the outdoor. We just enjoyed being out there. I definitely would go back. 👍

It is a very nice property neatly freshened attractively and practically, apparently recently. Great water views from four different levels. We stuck with the upper one. We did not swim in front. We found a great beach at Lake Geneva, and Crystal Lake, both of them great for kids, about 1/2 hour away. Make reservations for the animal safari near Lake Geneva. They were sold-out for several days when we visited. Enjoyed the local food. Nearest grocery store was very adequate. I gave 'location' 4* because I feel technically, the neighbor-house that probably has not had a dime invested in it in 20 years, looks slobby, but, it was fun watching the ground-hog sneak into its foundation and under its concrete steps. I do not feel it is a security or safety threat, but, I am not going to pretend it is a neighborhood of stately homes. The other neighbor has probably not trimmed his shrubbery for 5 years, but, it was not a problem. The remainder of the neighborhood is upbeat and nice. Do not be disturbed by the two neighbors. The neighborhood was not noisy or rowdy at any time while we were there. We enjoyed wandering through it walking our dogs. The family all left contented from a great vacation, thanks!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear our stay at this charming cottage on the lake was going to be a memorable one. Nestled on the tranquil shore of the beautiful lake, it was the perfect escape from the rush of everyday life. The cottage was as inviting as a picture from a postcard, a delightful blend of comfort and style. The interiors were spotless, cozy, and tastefully decorated, making us feel immediately at home. The blend of modern conveniences and rustic charm hit just the right note.

Beautiful home on the water. Everything was new and clean and my kids loved swimming and paddling on the lake all day. We could only stay for 2 night but wish we could have stayed longer.

Pros – There were lots of pros, but I only have 1500 characters. :( Cons - Upon arrival, we went down to the gaming area and I went to use the half bathroom. The toilet seat was dirty and I could tell that it had not been cleaned, so wiped it clean before using it. I was weary of what else had not been cleaned, so I started wiping down the kitchen counters and noticed the floors had crumbs still in the corners, something skicky dried onto the floor, and the floors needed a good mopping. I reached out to Maria and so that she could communicate what I found with her cleaning company. She said she had been over after they cleaned and did not notice these issues, but came over to clean the toilets and Swiffer the floors again. In the morning we also found unidentifiable stains in the grout of the bathroom floor and dishes with dried food in the cupboards. I texted Maria and let her know that we would be checking out by 11am and going home. I expressed that our ideas of clean could be different and I am definitely a “clean freak” and since her house was rated high for cleanliness, I expected more. Maria and I were both frustrated with the situation as her home has been rated all 5’s till now. Had I not lived 1.5 hours away, I would probably have worked harder at a different solution, but I just did not have the capacity to tackle this issue when I was hoping to just spend the weekend relaxing.

Great spot on the lake if you have a boat! If you are not aware you have to purchase a pass to take a boat out on the lakes.

We had fun in the cozy lake cottage. The view was beautiful, everything was in great condition, and it was a great location for lots of fun— like a day trip to Six Flags.

This beautiful home is just absolutely wonderful! The views are so breathtaking, having an upstairs and downstairs patio facing the lake was so fantastic, our jaws literally dropped when we saw the lake front view! It was incredibly clean and very well stocked with towels and other necessities. Maria is such an incredibly sweet and accommodating host, she even brought us extra bottled water the day we arrived, she went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The downstairs area with the bar is so cool! We loved playing darts and poker down there together. We also got to see some really beautiful birds, hawks and robins (and a cute little fluffy guy who looked like a beaver!) My daughter and her fiancé had fun using the adjacent dock for jumping into the river on their inflatable tubes. I can’t say enough great things about this home, many thanks to Maria and Todd for making this a vacation to remember!

Such a wonderful place! Host is absolutely wonderful with excellent communication! The home is beautiful with amazing views. Bed were so comfortable with premium bedding. Can’t wait to be back!

My husband wanted to do something different for his birthday and they was just a perfect spot to relax and enjoy our time with our furry babies and our niece & nephew. We would love to come back with a better weather to really enjoy to outside nature
