Our family spent 3 days in Calbogie to ring in the New Year. The location was perfect as we skied one day and hiked Eagles Nest the next. The hot tub and lake view was the perfect end to both outings. The large lawn gave the kids lots of space to throw a football. The kitchen was a perfect space to cook meals, play games and hang out together. 8 of us slept comfortably and the gas fireplace helped provide warmth and cozy comfort. Sarah was very helpful in answering any questions and offering activities for the kids to enjoy!

Easy to get to. A lot of amenities at the cottage. General store, gas and LCBO are 10 mins away by car. Spacious cottage with plenty of room for 7 of us. Great western facing lakeside property with tons of room for dogs to run. Golf course within easy walking distance. Rooms were reasonable in size (master was quite large) and beds were comfortable. Main bathroom is a little small. Toilet requires a bit of yoga. Master bathroom is well appointed and good size. A group of more than 4 would most likely have to share the bathrooms, as we did.

The property was great and the waterfront was really nice. Although it had a slight tilt, we really enjoyed the hot tub. We were hoping to get some fishing in, but there were no bites; it was really windy the whole stay. The only issue we had was being a little cold the first night but then we figured out how to set the thermostat before bed.

We all had a great time, sitting around and biking on the trails. Neighbors were very friendly and showed us areas to ride. Kitchen was great meeting spot and easy to cook big Thanksgiving dinner in. Lots of space to spread out and get together places. Will definitely be back! Sarah was great to deal with and good source of information on the area.

The property was very well kept and spacious. Very secluded from neighbors. Access to the water was great. The cottage is more like home and can entertain a number of people easily. Walking distance to the golf course is a huge plus. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay because it is what you make of the situation. PROS - the view - the potential of the place - quiet CONS - terrible smell when we first walked in, very musty/unpleasant (ac was on). Found the furnace filter to be clogged. In my hunt for the smell initially, found replacements and changed. - cleanliness/maintenance of the house inside and out. - Such a beautiful view and we had to clean the windows to see it. It was weeks/months worth of cobwebs and dirt. - blankets with holes and/or not clean. - majority linens were cheap (really noticed because guests are expected to make their own beds) - don’t look under couch or move anything, dust bunnies, wrappers, tumbleweed of dog hair, and cob webs. - the dock was unsafe, no support for one section. We added rocks to support so that my 9 year old nephew wouldn’t cause a sag in the wood, with ~5ft drop. Also step(s) broken at platform. - the range/stove is not fully functional. Takes hours to cook anything in the oven. - beds all incredibly soft and uncomfortable. - wifi was terrible. Had to work one day and it was easier to drive to get service. - had to search for the outdoor cushions We relayed the furnace filter change and that we could not find the appropriate sheets for the beds to the owners. The response was quick. My expectations were set based on other reviews that is why I felt it important to share our experience, as well as our guests.

This cottage felt like a resort! From cooking food in that beautiful kitchen, to watching a perfect sunset from the hot tub, this cottage was everything we needed to recharge and reconnect. Thank you for everything!

We loved the location. Very peaceful & the sunset view was breathtaking. Sarah our host was very friendly in responding to all my queries, highly recommend to visit this again. Hot tub made our stay extra special so relaxing.

Property's yard is massive and very well kept up, the deck by the water has incredible views of the lake and sunsets, and the house deck was also large with a well placed tree providing shade over the sitting area in the afternoon! The house was very clean, and the kitchen had all the essential items needed. There were a large number of couches for the whole extended family to spread out on inside. The property was in a great location - right across the street from a golf course (if that is your thing) and only a 8-10 minute drive to the town of Calabogie. Overall fantastic property, and Sarah was very helpful, friendly, and quick to reply to any questions we had leading up to the trip. Would definitely visit again!

There were five of us - me, my husband, and three members of his race team for a weekend at Calabogie Motorsports Park. It was a very short drive to the race track. The cottage was very well equipped with lots of room to gather together. We would love to come again.

This cottage has gorgeous views, wifi, Smart apple TV, comfortable furniture, amazing kitchen that we utilized, all beds were wonderfully comfortable, lovely linens and bath towels, very spacious with lots of living room seating and kitchen island with seating and a large dining table. Host was lovely and replied quickly and checkin was super easy. We came for family day weekend and were surprised to see a variety of board games/cards for our use. The gas fireplace provided extra coziness after a long day skiing at Calabogie Peaks, just 12-15 min drive away. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property and lodging with us- we will be returning next winter season, MOST DEFINITELY!

We rented the cottage to celebrate my brother’s birthday and, of course, Super Bowl LVII, along with my sister in law and their adult children and partners. The layout of the cottage was perfect for a large crowd and 10 of us were able to sit around the table and mealtime. The kitchen is a dream to cook in - with lots of storage. Every room has a view and the lake is beautiful. We even took advantage of the close proximity to Calabogie Peaks for a ski day. Check in was a breeze and communication w Sarah was easy and open. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and hope to book again someday.

Our family completely enjoyed a winter getaway at the cottage! Beautiful area. We loved the views of the lake. The ski hill is a short drive away. The large fully stocked kitchen allowed a large family group to all be together to prepare and share meals. The open concept made it ideal to gather and cheer on our sports teams with the big screen TV and snuggling up by the fireplace. A perfect vacation.
