Upon arriving at the property we see a sign that informs us that there are "sensitive pipes" and we cannot flush our toilet paper. I'm sorry but at the price that they charged I am not going to go six days surrounded by feces and urine covered toilet paper. The listing should have stated this so that we could decide if this was a situation we could deal with. We are not in the middle of the Australian bush backpacking, we are in the United States and should be able to have proper facilities. We chose not to stay there and apparently we are going to eat the money we spent because not only is our host unresponsive to us and to VRBO, but VRBO is not going to do anything to rectify it. We have been with VRBO for many years and always trusted them to have hosts that will do what is right. This will be our last booking with them.

We loved the pictures and the size of the houses, but our first thought when we pulled in was "wow, grass needs to be cut ". We are also STR hosts, so we are going to give our honest opinion. I'll starts out with the pros of the home. Pros I believe that the property has a tankless water heater, because the hot water was amazing and endless. The AC worked well on a very hot day. The amount of space was perfect for what we needed it for. We had 10 total guests one evening, and didn't feel tight. Now to the cons. A grill is listed as an amenity, but when you get there, they are filthy dirty, and you have to buy your own propane for it. There's a sign by the entrance that says to please take your shoes off, with am exclamation mark at the end. You can only imagine ten people constantly having to take off and put on their shoes, and there's a back yard. The corn hole boards would have been fun, if the grass had been short. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. The first floor bathroom's toilet seat had an actual poop stain, and hairs on it. And both the bath tub and the stand up shower upstairs, also had pubic hair in them. The upstairs master bedroom door was extremely difficult to open and close. My fiance actually got locked inside the room, and had to text me to go up and open it. The day we booked, check in time was 3pm, and the check in instructions said 4
