The location and style of the property was one of best i have stayed at. The owner was great to work with if problem arose. no problem at all with this booking.

Ther was a comprehensive supply of supplies and condiments to cook a delicious meal in a well stocked kitchen. There were also board games to pass the time away on a cold, wet day.

Clean and comfortable with everything you need. Short walk to cafes and supermarket for essentials. Then there is the view!!! A most agreeable stay.

The house is situated- as the name suggests- right on the river with huge windows in the living area facing the water. The views were stunning and the little reading area was perfect for having a hot cup of tea and watching the water. There is also a lovely little balcony overlooking the water which we didn’t make much use of because the outside air was very crisp but it would be a great place to sit on warm days. The whole house was tidy and well fitted out with everything you could possibly need. We were so pleasantly surprised to find tea and coffee in the cupboards which was a lifesaver when we arrived and realised all the shops had already shut for the day. There’s also provided boardgames and giant Jenga! Communication with the hosts was a breeze and they were always polite, helpful and accommodating. I could not recommend this location any higher and we’ll definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Tasmania.

Our host Georgia was fantastic, her communication was really good. We were kept informed by her with all aspects of possible issues which was fantastic. I had asked for a couple of recommendations from her and she helpfully obliged with some successful suggestions. The retreat was a very comfortable no fuss stay with some thoughtful treats awaiting to make the stay even more comfortable.
